In this video, you'll learn how to ace questions on area and perimeter for the GED test math section!
Perimeter Formulas:
Perimeter of square = 4 x side
Perimeter of rectangle = 2 x length + 2 x width
Perimeter of triangle = side a + side b + side c
Formulas for area:
Area of square = side^2
Area of rectangle = length x width
Area of triangle = (1/2) x base x height
Area of parallelogram = base x height
Area of trapezoid = (1/2) x height (base a + base b)
***Note: You don't have to memorize these formulas for your test, you just have to know how to use them. That being said, I recommend trying to memorize the formulas for squares, rectangles, and triangles, because this will save you time on the test!
