Thanks Dan for the video lesson. You always make a rather challenging (to me) “blue” piece sound easy. A nice review of 13th (7,3,6) and 9th (3,7,9) voicing(s) though. Indeed, with voicing it sounds bluesier than just playing the original chords on a lead sheet. That 10th jump LH is going to be challenge for me. I will review the video few more time just to be accustomed to the voicing(s). Excellent work, Dan. Much appreciated as always.

Hey Dan ! Just working on this piece and you're providing a significant help to get me through this.. A simple question : how did you know to put a regular E in your C minor chord (instead of E flat) ? Because it sounds way more "blues", as expected, but I can't figure why. Thanks again, cheers!

Thank you. Good question.Because I 'know' (and now you do) that a 3 or 6 chord (and even sometimes a 2 chord) can be with a major third (the 2, when this happens, usually then becomes minor as it should be... it's a nice sound). But 3 and 6 can be major 3rds... for that exact reason: it sounds more bluesy! Have fun with it. Best, Dan
