About the only thing I like about this case is the power button on front. Does the fan stay on 24/7 or can it be setup for variable speed depending on temp? Did you stress test the pi at all and kind of keep an eye on temperature, if so, how did it perform? For the time being, I think I'll stick to my Argon ONE M.2, even though having a 3.5" SSD is kind of nice. Guess I don't know the science, if a M.2 SSD puts off more heat or less than a 3.5" SSD. I do know the NAND M.2 SSDs put off more heat.

Only use tbe x825 barrel jack, rhe directions say u will fry the pi if use use the barrel jacks of either the pi or the x735, also the reason everything is turning on when plugged in becasuw he forgot to remove the short jumper

Have one without the fan head. Switch should be on main board to operate! No problem with wifi. BT would be outside the metal box.

The hardware should have come with a sheet of instructions. On that sheet of instructions there is an explanation about the script you need to run to install the software to make the fan work

Hi, all the metal case will have some affect on WiFi or bluetooth, so 5G WiFi AP or ethernet will be more stable.

Thank you for this superb close up look at x825 paired with x735. Great channel, great videos. edit: I know my commentary is one year after DB Tech's excellent video. Worth noting that in the Geekworm video at minute 1 and 32 seconds, they advise powering x825 board (if it is just the x825 without the x735). However, later in their video at minute 7 and 26 seconds, Geekworm indicates use of the x735's barrel jack 5V power *and not the x825* (when x825 and x735 are both in use). Their video is available at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JxUNhIxXgj4.html. edit2: I also think you have a momentary switch . . . not a latching switch unless I am mistaken. So your momentary switch should go into the third header not the second one (see 14:30). Kindest regards, friends.

good one -- but a cheaper and better way to have this setup (SSD) is to use Amazon Miuzei case (fan included) and just add an SSD via USB3 connections .. then flash your OS on the SSD and you're set to go .... this setup is not completely enclose in a case - so it runs without getting hot - gurantee ..

"better" is a relative term. Not everyone wants a case like the Miuzei case. For that matter not everyone wants a case like this. I'm just showing people what options are out there.
