How to Install Raspberry Pi 4+X825 V2.0 board+X735 V2.5 Board+X825-C8 Case?

This is the new X825 V2.0 version which release at April 1st 2020, there is a new case X825-C8 designed for X825 V2.0.
Some new features of X825 V2.0(Updated on April 1st 2021):
① Add 4 test pins to achieve powered between X825 V2.0 and Pi4 without additional cable. You can get power from the PI4's Type-C port or X825 V2.0 DC JACK power socket.
② Removed the on-board power button and 4-pin external switch interface. You can connect the X735 board for software safe shutdown & power management .
③ Use more shorter USB 3.0 jumper/connector, so the matching metal case is X825-C8 NOT X825-C6.

Super easy install. Just wish when you buy the SSD/HDD expansion slot it came with the PS but I love the fact I can still power everything from the pi

I’d be interested as well. But I’ve purchased the current version. Maybe in the future I’ll add a 3d printed box with a small OLED on top. Such as this • www.the-diy-life.com/add-an-oled-stats-display-to-raspberry-pi-os-bullseye/

so the big momentary switch doesn't work unless you install the x735?

It is posible to feed the x735 through the 5v IN connector from 5v OUT in the X825 ?? basically i need the 2 connections, ethernet and DC in be on the back of the case.

Today i have received this pack, easy installation and fan script works very well in pi OS, in the future a case with two bay for a raid 1 setup would be a good idea.

is there enought room for some low profile heatsinks ? do you recommend to install rasbian or 64bit Ubuntu-mate for the 8GB version ?

Hi, it is recommend to use with the X735 power mgnt and cooling fan board for heat dissipation.

So to clarify, the X825 V2.0 does not use the power switch at all?

today I have assembled ronindojo thanks to your video. highly recommended. I have a question to see if you can help me. x735 fan does not turn on. I am synchronizing the block and the rasp is at a temperature of 70. Shouldn't it be on? in the video doing the ignition checks I have not seen that it turned on at any time. thank you

Hé Argi, trying to do this too. Did you manage to get the fan running? I was wondering, did you use Pi OS / Raspbian and can you put Raspberry Pi OS on the SD card including the flashing image of Ronindojo? How to do this? Thank you

I have the x735 v2.5 and cannot get the 4-pin PMW fan o activate. Im not sure how to follow the instructions on the wiki. Is there a step by step guide to get it to work? I dont want to unplug the yellow wire as a bypass. I want the product to work as advertised and not some alternative. Thank you.

I build the box with RP4, X735 V2.5 and X825 V2.0. I install libreelec but it is not possible to install the script. How can I do for the fan? Regards.

Hi friend, You can try to pull out the blue wire of the cooling fan on the X735 to let it work.
