The Eagles only managed one behind in the last quarter, the only other time they’ve done this this year was against Collingwood Geelong had 6 more marks than west coast and seems like whenever they lose the mark count they lose. However they still manage to win games despite having lower marks More Marks than Opposition Wins: 9 Loses: 2 Same amount of Marks in Round 21 Less Marks than Opposition: Wins: 5 Loses: 5

To avoid the possibility of a Richmond vs Collingwood grand final, hope Geelong wins next week.

AFL has serious endemic problems. I could count on my hands and feet the number of times Geelong had both hands around the hips of Eagles players without the ball. Hurn takes a mark exactly the same as Radagolea but only the latter gets a mark. Start of third quarter Gaff gets a kick that travels two and a half squares (25m) but gets called to play on, he then kicks it SHORTER to be cut off by Dalhaus and it's called a fair mark. The umpires have clearly been given a motion to favour the Victorian teams. Don't get me started on Collingwood being given the win over Essendon in the H&A season which bumped Eagles out of top 4 or Richmond being allowed the last 10 games of the season at the MCG. Afl will go the way of Nfl with this anti-competition.

1 Why did the AFL table Rioli's findings from 4 weeks ago the day before an elimination final ? 2. Why wasn't it tabled the same day mid Aug ? 3 the WHOLE WCE Team was NOT switched on as a result of this AFL timing to announce an investigation. 4. Has the blood rule changed ? 5. Is belting a player (Schofield) , in the head off the ball now ok ? 6. Has the Blocking Rule changed ? 7 any response from the AFL would be nice.

Thank You Geelong for defeating the WCE is a thriller last night. As a Sandgroper, it will be "so bliss" (I'll enjoy the quietness) not to hear all the verbal crap from sports news presenters (tossers) and the like for the remainder of the year.
