Of all Chinese EV design Geely Galaxy E8 is my most favorite design. Sleek, modern, not too over the top, not flamboyant, futuristic interior with killer dashboard screen, competitive pricing, great performance for the price range, just about right.

@@farmers740 Labor cost is comparably lowest factor of the total cost of making a car these days, let alone the degree of automation in China is way higher than those in the States or EU. Say what you want but sweat shops and labor camps from all history are not productive orgnizations and could never make any sophisticated product of its time. Seriously are you assuming the Nazis can let the jews to make rockets or jets as long as they abuse those labor harsh enough?

Why don't Tesla do all sorts of things? Like a driver display, or indicator stalks, or lidar/radar/ultrasonic/rain sensors, or a physical button or two, and on and on and on. Answer is quite simple, really, MINIMALIST DESIGN silly! And by minimalist I mean cost cutting.

I don't know if the panel gaps are as inconsistent as they seem in the video when viewing from a distance, but the way the panels are divided is very off-putting to me, especially the fastback trunk. Subjective opinion maybe.

Omg. Too many galaxy reference. The acceleration of our galaxy may be through the gravitational pull of nearby dark matter but most of the acceleration in respect to most other galaxys comes from dark energy.

boys you need to understand that these big Chinese luxury cars are just curiosities. people with money buy classic western brands. so you might want to tell them that their best chance here in EU is to come with small (class A, B) cheap, decent ranged (300+ real km) EVs which are right now made too expensive by the western brands.

Irrespective of the Tesla panel gap joke I’d say the panel gap, on this G8, where the front wheel arch is split and the bonnet/hood butts up looks a bit off particularly on the yellow car. Great bangs for bucks but probably not so much if it gets exported. I do, however, love the interior particularly that one piece wide screen. Super futuristic looking👍

If you insist using milkyway as a reference, you may need to check some of your facts. The acceleration is due to dark energy not dark matter and the black hole is no where as big as you claimed.

Overkill is the word of the year in the Chinese car market. It is literally all they talk about, which carmakers can overkill on price, features, screens, performance, range, whatever. Apparently they have a saying in the Chinese automotive industry. The car company that engages in overkill will quickly start losing money hand over fist. HOWEVER, the car company which does not try to overkill is a dead company walking. So overkill it is, and the market will decide which overkiller lives and which dies.

It's not a mirror, it's a tinted piece of plastic that's part of the sun visor. You flip it down and it blocks most of the sunlight, while still allowing you to see what's in front of you.

I don't understand why the Chineese make pretty cars but with a small trunk. Car of this size should have a trunk of volume of 560 l at least to make it a "full size" car.
