Crusader Kings 3 and the Roads to Power DLC continues as Geethan becomes Geethan the Brave, taking on not one but TWO dangerous situations! The only thing is, does he come out of them unscathed or will there be lasting damage to our favourite poet?
Geek's Tabard travel North for many months, venturing into the snow and encountering all sorts of exciting things. Oh and also our wagon wheel breaks again.
Our water barrel breaks, we help an injured child and we acquire some new followers.
We also spend quite a bit of time with Leia, who is growing up fast, and we get amble opportunities to help her increase her abilities! She learns from the camp, we try to pass a trait on to her and also we bond over some horse riding!
But the big question is... do we complete The Travels Of Geethan Geek?!

From my experience reading translations of "travels' written during this era, you absolutely know that, in Geethan's book, that fight is going to end up being one of two things: either a minor footnote said in an aside on the bottom of a page that has the 21st century reader yelling, "WTF? TELL THE WHOLE STORY DAMMIT, WHAT HAPPENED HERE?? I NEED TO KNOW!" or some massive exaggeration that has the guy he defeated 600 feet tall with feet made out of cheese or something. There is no in between.

Another fun episode in the travels of Geethan and his group. It was lovely seeing Leia growing up and learning to ride a horse, shadowing your second in command, and she now has a little sister. You were quite fortunate to win duels against a bandit and a wolf largely unscathed. It would have been interesting if the wolf raised lad were still with you perhaps he could have persuaded the wolf, but, alas, he felt the call of the wild. Your new wife might not have much time left to have a child, but at least you'll be able to play a board game together. Not many places left before you complete the 60 points of interest.

Enjoying this series way too much. Can’t wait for you to explore all the points of interest on the map. I just hope paradox introduces better treasures for wanderers

Penge, I'm writing this as the duel to the death with Girgan (the leader of the slavers attacking your caravan) has reached its conclusion. @27:50 That has to be the Geekiest thing possible, using a tactic Geethan had read about in a book! Honestly, it seems the writers at Paradox had designed the entire encounter with just you in mind. Can't you just hear it? Paradox Writer #1: Well, what do you think we should do for that fella in the Geek Cupboard? I mean we should something especially for his benefit, you know, just to maintain his interest? Paradox Writer #2: Hmm, I'll have to think about that for a little bit. Maybe something with plentiful tea references? By the way, did you ever wonder if his Geek Cupboard might otherwise be called the Cupboard Below the Stairs? Or is that just too geeky to be true? Paradox Writer #3: Seems to me that mere tea references would be too generic to really be specific to the guy in the Geek Cupboard. Hell, any Spiffin' Brit would see a tea reference and think it was meant for him. We need something that simply screams "GEEK" to the player. After all, how big of a clue stick is it going to take to get through to that Geek Cupboard guy, anyway? Paradox Writer #2: What screams "geek" enough so he'll recognize it as being aimed at him. Paradox Writer #1: How about we put him in a duel to the death, but the solution comes from something the character read in some old book. I mean, we can't really give the character a light sabre or phaser and still have it be CK3. Paradox Writer #3: (Suddenly stands and turns to point his finger at Paradox Writer #1) And... we can describe his character's move as the least subtle, most amateurish, least skillful sort of attack. Paradox Writer #2: With his eyes closed, so he doesn't even know what's going on... See, I'm sure the whole thing was written just for you and I'm delighted you shared it with the rest of us. - sj

I'm really enjoying watching this. That was a tense episode in parts. I think it would take 10 months to sort a camp layout, I see them drawing out layouts and practising it then realised they had missed out the chef tent or something and having to try again next they move the camp.😂 Also, there is a point of interest very close to where the camp is now. Just to the right and up a bit. 👉👆

WHAT? NO! You could have had a sneaky-sneaky stabby-stabby daughter and heir! Sure, Geethan probably wants her to follow in his footsteps (and not poison a bunch of people), but now we won't have a badass assassin daughter jumping across rooftops and diving into hay bales. :(
