The fact you can use every single setting in cyberpunk is pretty incredible. Back when we tested the 3090ti we didn't have path tracing only ray tracing. The fact this card is doing even better with path tracing on which is more demanding is insane. I do hate that people think this is how we should benchmark gpus. We shouldn't it should be native and dlss only. Ray tracing and path tracing are not set standards they shouldnt be based on 4k performance because it's not.
@Xarbn I'm talking about with dlss and yes frame gen now but try it on the 3090ti with just dlss and see what happens. Point is this isn't just ray tracing it's path tracing much more demanding.
Raw power is almost impossible these days. You need to use DLSS and FG. Or at least lower the resolution to the point where the card is not intended to like a 4K card can only play 1440p if you still want native res performance so there's that. 🤷♀
@Jakiyyyyy exactly peoppe just don't get it devs have leaned into this and for actual good reasons. Right now anti aliaisong is rough lately. Dlss and dlaa is actually beating it most of the time. People can say what they want but that combination can look better then most regular anti aliasing natively. But yeah devs are pushed for time more and more. They don't hab time to scrub and soften all of the areas they used to. Also the games have way to many angles and lines now to expect them to do so.
@@hellothere9089 4070 ti super eats every game I throw at it with ease so you would definitely not regret getting although if you want that 15% percent performance increase (might be useful at 4k) it should be worth considering the 4080 super too I guess.

One of the best setups today, I have this exact setup and I can play all my games without lag, I always play at 1440p, and VR is super enjoyable and smooth especially on vrchat where there’s a lot of people
I have played Alan Wake 2 on my 8 years old GPU at 30fps lock, 1440p, medium settings, no RT, FSR2 quality, and I was still able to enjoy the game on the gamepad. I'll be buying the 4080S soon and I know I'll be happy with the performance in this game because 52-60fps on my VRR monitor is very responsive and enjoyable. Keep in mind the benchmark location is the most demanding part of the game, so the 4080S will probably get over 60fps in other places and that is extremely impressive considering the game uses path tracing. Every time I see people in the comments section crying about performance in the RT/PT game, I wonder if they even know what RT/PT does, because even 30fps in the PT game would be extremely impressive, let alone 52-70fps. With FG the game will run at nearly 100fps with PT, and without PT / RT over 80fps even without upscaling. I doubt there are many RTX4080 owners who will not enjoy this game becasue of performance.

@club4ghz Nah....Nvidia learnt their lesson with lots of unsold 4080s at $1200. The 5080 will launch at $1K. People won't pay (in large numbers) more than $1K for a 2nd tier card.

People need to understand that higher FPS in single-player games is unnecessary. The cap for these types of games is 60 FPS. Only in multiplayer games do you need a higher FPS, ranging from 120 to 200.

@@iikatinggangsengii2471I have the 14900k and it's not better. It pulls a ridiculous amount of power for the performance you get and it's just not intended to be a gaming cpu. It's a different story in productivity though. Not to mention, my 14900k became unstable due to degradation after five months of ownership. I had to go back to a 12900KS as I can't afford to do an entire platform swap.

There are games where DLSS looks better than native TAA, and if there is a game with a blurry image (for example DLSS in the Witcher 3) you can still get a far sharper image compared to native thanks to DLDSRx2 or DSRx1.5, and the performance will be still better. There's no point playing without DLSS because you'll get worse image quality and performance in every single game. According to techpowerup review, the 4080S has 94fps average at 4K, and 155fps at 1440p native. Add to that DLSS and even at 4K most games will run at 100fps. I doubt there are many RTX4080 owners who think this GPU is not 4K capable. Yes there are extremely demanding games that use RT or PT that run much worse, but if you knew what RT / PT does you would be impressed with 30fps in path traced game let alone 60fps.

People should really stop testing 1080p as long as you don't want to compare different CPU's to each other. 1080p is outdated like HDDs. Otherwise, nice video.👍
