I didn't know about him until his fight with weidman a few years ago. I just recently looked at his wiki and he has a ton of names on his resume, it's insane how the ufc picks and chooses which fighters to selectively advance.

@@zachlovescats95 Facts. It's mostly hype and whoever the UFC chooses to support on their way into people's homes and the market in general. Even Khabib, Max, Amanda, Islam, Alex, Masvidal, Oliveira, Edwards, and so many others didn't get any fame until much later on. Even the rankings and the winning streaks doesn't mean anything anymore...

I've been watching mma for years and somehow this is my first proper mousassi interview. I've seen him interviewed in the cage and the octagon after fights and I've seen clips but this is the first full length (pun intended) interview I've seen and I must say he is a likeable guy but as soon as he said he was an Armenian gypsy I liked him even more. very funny.

We need Gegard back in UFC. He'd dethrone Izzy and Usman. His skillset and experience is unmatched. I just want to see him vs Borz. That fight would be insane. Make it a trilogy and it will defo top ppv's big time.

I'm a fan of Mousasi but i think he would lose against Chimaev. He can't handle that ground game. He had a lot of trouble with Machida as well so i'm not so sure about him beating Izzy and Usman. All of them would be great fights and we can all agree he left UFC too soon.

UFC can only loose in that deal. It will bring more fans to Bellator who is his direct competitor for one. and if UFC fighters start loosing fights against Bellator fighters they might loose that special status they have of being the worlds best. It will take a long time before MMA promotions will have "evened" out and have an equal spread of talent like in boxing. (i might be wrong about the boxing, not an expert)
