So I combined the two final sessions into one video. The first part was our 8th session just to finish the last unfinished patterns in the robe and a couple of other unfinished bits. The 9th and final session was to go back through the entire tattoo and address any areas that needed touch up or I wasn't 100% happy with.
We finally let all the ink and tears settle :) and then set up a photoshoot for a few months later. I'm so excited and happy with how the tattoo came out and so honored to have gotten to collaborate with Laura to create this piece. One of my all time favorite pieces. I love how the photos came out. please enjoy.

In the image she is taking off a Neko (Cat) mask and replacing it with a Hannya mask. We collaborated on the specifics of the design and came up with a very unique piece that has a wonderful movement to and fits her body perfect.
* A Hannya mask is used in Japanese Noh plays. They represent a woman who has become obsessed or jealous but can be demonic and dangerous or sorrowful and tormented depending on the angle you look at the mask. This is meant to display the complexity of human emotions.
