GC extreme is as good it can get for thermal pastes the fact it can match it let alone be slightly better and mostly likely to sustain this temprature for a while unlike the thermal paste is more than enough to consider the product not to mention will last much longer for a laptop user like me this is a perfect product don't have to deal with pump out doesn't dry out also cheaper than a ptm7950 considering international shipping

I do know of the PTM7950 which I've read on the internet, but didn't have the courage to try as I do not want my processor to stick on either aircooler or liquid aio. Till now when I tried these Gelid, I might want to test out the PTM7950. Thank you for your feedback.
I use ptm on my 3090. No pump out and very good termal perfor. So it is worth it. Paste in laptop and gpus is old tech. Yes paste can be better at first( it is not tho) but in 3 months it will get hotter and hotter
Hi aditya, welcome to my channel. Based on the comparison. Both need time to warm up before the temps shows the drop. I would say both application are of The same but when removing. These gelid are much easier. As for temp wise again these are better by 1 to 2 degrees difference.

Something is wrong. All temps with the heat phase ultra are lower like motherboard and M2. The test was not done in the same conditions. Anyway, this is not a pad, it's more like a paste.

I'll stick with my Arctic Silver 5, it's never failed to keep cpu's or gpu's cool and 2 deg difference is basically the same and not worth the work involved in tearing your system apart for a gimmic that I'll never trust with any of my cpu's just too expensive to replace
Hi Four Ace, welcome to my channel, that’s good. I use to use Arctic Silver 5. They do provide good results but have changed to Arctic MX4 which does a better job in a long run. Due to the viscosity and runs even better with MX6. Nevertheless each have their own choice of application and once again thank you for your feedback 😉
