Hello from Australia 🥰🍁🍂🦘🦘🦘Autumn leaves are everywhere here in Adelaide & I just purchased my first Gel plate yesterday! Can't wait to get my paints, brayer, papers & leaves, stencils, textured ribbons, corrugated cardboard etc. & create amazing prints to use as backgrounds on some card fronts. Thank you so much for sharing!🥰🙏👍
I purchase a Gelli plate last year but haven't used it as I'm not sure what to do. Well, after watching this, I'm going to break out of my timid place & give this a go. I love the looks that were created!! I've just subscribed & "rung" the bell.
Wow, so many ways to print leaves. I use leaves to print a resist on silk, then dye the leaves, then the background and sprinkle it with salt, as you can see. I've never seen it done on a Gelli plate.
I love the subtle combinations of colours on the prints in this video. I've made leaf prints on a press before and found you can also take prints from the ink on the ;eaves after you remove them or you can even ink them up as if they were the plate.
Fabulous results! I have leaves I have collected, my Gelli plate and paints - after watching this I am inspired to give it a try! Cool video, thank you! xxx
Great video but I found it was a bit too speedy for me. I later discovered I could change the speed. By clicking on the 3 dots on the upper right of the frame and altered the speed which made a tremendous difference. Thanks for sharing.
I love leaves and thank you for sharing your technique but because it is the first time I see this can you give me some ideas on what I can make with these printed papers?
