These are stunning. I love them. You could use paper dolls here. I have two great granddaughters and the way it's looking I'll have two more who might love this on thier bedroom walls
Brand new to gel plate printing and loving every minute learning about it. Thank you so much for explaining the layering processes to add texture. It's a little mind-bending trying to keep in mind it's the bottom layer next to the plate which will be the front but thanks to you I finally saw the light! I've just ordered a mega mount from you which I'm so pleased about as I hadn't been able to find one anywhere and you can't really use the gel plate without it!
Not only was this easy to understand, but your personality has won me over. I have just subscribed and look forward to all the other presentations. Thank you for sharing your talent!
New subscriber here your work is amazing just bought a Gelli plate and hope to achieve a decent print eventually. Thanks for sharing look forward watching and learning more. You are the best.
I love to watch your videos. You are super talented but you never take yourself too seriously. This picture was so great. It just got better and better with each step. I wish I had the talent that you do!
I am totally blown away with the techniques for using a Gelli Plate. Your videos are amazing and so easy to follow. Thanks for taking the time to show us how to makes the most of our stencils. Xx
Oh I just love your work. It was magical watching you work and also seeing how the jelli works too. Pulling the stamp and getting the whole thing to come off. Fantastic. Love your program..thank you so much for the inspiration. pat
Hi, Barbara, I'm in Australia and I have recently found your You Tube channel and have subscribed. I've watched a couple of your Gel Press videos (I have just recently bought one) and I love it. I've placed an order today for the mega mounts and some of your stencils. Hardest part will be the waiting... thank so much for your inspiration! :)
Barbara, this was one of the BEST video's I've seen. Love watching (+ listening) you. So clearly put together and it turned out so beautiful. I'm going to start following you. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful knowledge and talent!! I am a permanent FAN!!!
Really enjoyed this video. Made me go onto amazon and order Gelli pad and Breyer after days of deliberations!, no offence to the USA but it is lovely to have found a site in U.K.where I am. Thanks again.
I am glad that our world has opened up options for other countries... with the use of Internet, none of these products could get sold to other folks :-) and it's definitely opened up the Craft Market & Sales. Who knew it could be so profitable.
Absolutely awesome 👏🏻. I wish you had some of these products in the USA. Shipping is just so high from UK. I love watching your videos. Thank you sooo much.
Just found your site a couple of weeks ago and absolutely enjoy watching your videos. Very informative, helpful, clever, and, most important, FUN! I'm in the USA and now looking for places where I can get your stencils. Thanks for sharing your talent and time.
me encanta como trabajas y me das muchísimas ideas para poder hacer cosas tan bonitas casi parecidas a las que tu haces. Muchísimas gracias por enseñármelas.
Excellent art. I love your style. Glad your back. I missed you the last few weeks. But it was a good thing because it inspired me to seek you out. Any way I found your blog and read you were on the mend. Glad to hear that. 100% lavender oil on your chest is the best cold, flue, and all that kind of stuff, medicine I have ever used. Even better I use it every night to prevent. Bin clear since someone told me over a year ago now. But back to the blog. Excellent art and info. Did you know you can put a link in the description to your blog and store. Then us lazy ones can just tap on it and be there. Just a thought. Have a good one and take care. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video! I'll have to make a point to not wear long drapey sleeves... i'm sure there's some offloaded paint on them too! lol Question... when you are blotting the paper - why not use a type of Presser or Burnisher - instead of your hands? I notice a lot of folks do it this way, and I am curious as to if you get an even press? I notice that Linocut products sell one for burnishing prints … might be useful, perhaps? Just another thought...while watching this (because I have to go to work, and trying to squeeze in this video)… what's missing for me, is finding a small Burnisher for small projects. I don't like using my hands for everything, over time, my skin gets irritated and lets face it - we need to save our skin, avoid chemicals even from paper. Maybe there is one out there... Juliana
You are like the Gelli Plate Queen! I bought one and what a disaster. Wish I had seen this first. "Gentle" is definitely the operative word when it comes to Gelli plates. I peeled back a piece of paper and it grabbed a piece of the plate with it, ruining the whole thing! When you let each layer dry, how long does it take approximately? When you add your final layer of ink, does that reactivate the other layers so they all come up together? Finally what brand of gelli plate do you use?
