Hi, i got a Big mouth. It moves ok, but the problem is the sound. It was working good with batteries, the problem started when i use a 9v input adaptador, the Big mouth uses a 6v adaptador. When i use de 9v the sound started to fade until no sound. What could happen? Is there a solution? Thanks, sorry of My English, i'm from lima Perú
This is actually the late 1999 model, the real 2000 model has the speaker more centered by the left middle screw. The circuit board placements are also different, the late 1999 model has the board on the right on the back panel, where's the actual 2000 model has a smaller more square board below the speaker on the back panel. Also the nameplate isn't screwed inside the plaque on the 2000 model, it's just melted on by a soldering iron. There's nothing else but just those three differences, I would get a new Billy Bass every year when one broke, which I would always peak inside. :) I never had any of the newer models past 2004, as I wasn't interested in these anymore. (Edit: I also remember a normal size Billy Bass with the smaller fish mechanism, which the tail and head used the same motor. I can't say the other differences about that model, besides it broke easier.)
there is no way mine would survive that. my plastic must be really weathered because I broke two screw holes taking mine apart. guess i'll have to deal with no mouth movement.
I have a Billy bass JR but the head and tail don't move however when I press the button I feel the tail moving but not moving back and fourth same with the head I think the gear is slipping
