This was very informative. I used it to guide me as I replaced my clockspring. Everything works like a champ now and I was able to clean out a bunch of grime around the steering wheel. Thanks!
Really great vid. Super helpful. Thank you!! Really kind of strange just how simple it ended up being...I expected it to be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more complicated.
Vlad I just wanted to thank you for making this Video I own a 2010 Prius and was still able to apply the same steps you used on this late model Prius. My New clock spring came from E-Bay with a defect so I am having to replace the Clock Spring a second time but hopefully I will have good news. I am posting your video too a Prius chat forum I am a member of since I have no plans of getting rid of my beautiful 2010 Prius ever if possible.
Lol, once again at one of your videos. My 133k mile Prius just had the intermittent windshield wiper switch start dying on me. I can hear the electricity make a static-y type sound when I use it. Other modes work fine. Was hoping for some type of solder fix but looks like might just have to bite the bullet and replace for $45 on ebay. Thanks for vid dude.
A lot of "I guess" going on in this video. Curious if you had any problems later because you didn't mark the correct positions of the steering wheel and clock spring before you removed them.
Hey Vlad. Excellent video! Have you had any of the “headlight issues” I’ve been hearing about? All of a sudden no lights or parking lights. But blinkers and high beam flashing works. So no night driving and Toyota wont help without thousands of dollars. Gonna try changing the switch as a first step. Any other ideas? From anyone? Thx Mike
