Fore Innovations is amazing. Took your advice from months ago and installed their 1E kit with 2 285’s. Literally haven’t touched a thing since May. Thank you for the advice and for all the awesome videos tío!!!
I appreciate your knowledge for these engines. Now I don't have to spend the time on the money on forged internals. It's my daily, but it. Yes boosted So I have a rebuild that I'm doing ring gap, Springs and leaving it at that.
6:43-7:00 I talked to Calimer about the input shafts on his MT-82 and 3160 builds. He says his 26-spline input shafts are the same as what comes in the 6060/T-56 Magnums, so they would use the same clutch. A Black Magic should work with that in mind.
Thanks for this video Alex! I have a Lund tuned FBO 2019 Bullitt (minus cams) with a 150 shot of nitrous on E85. I also have all of the major mods that you mentioned in the video (built MT82-D4, 3.73 gear, Ram Pro Street cerametallic twin disc clutch, Ford Performance half shafts, driveshaft, Viking double adjustable rear shocks set at 2C/10R and ET Street R radials 22 psi cold). I have struggled week after week trying to sixty-foot the car with no luck. The last outing at Bradenton resulted in an 11.97 @ 117.78 mph pass on nitrous, with a 1.807 sixty and a 7.823 in the 1/8 @ 91.27. I also ran my highest mph that same night which was 122.85, but the sixty was a crappy 2.285. The car dyno’d at 639 rwhp/602 rwtq btw. What is the worst sixty that will still allow me to run a 10 sec. ET? Thanks.
@@YDBT4LIFE Copy that, thanks! I’ll be making the switch just as soon as these are done. The only reason I even put DRs on the car was because I have a Hitmaster Clutch Hit Control System by Clutch Tamer on the car, which was supposed to help get my sixty low on radials, but I haven’t seen anything better than a 1.7 using it.
Run boostane with 93 you can get a little more power and do it safer and it gourds against getting ahold of shitty quality 93 because the boostane should take it up to 100 octane if you use a full can of premium in every tank it treats up to 15 gal of 93 and turns it into 100 octane I order mine in bulk on ebay it's little under 20 a bottle when you buy it in 8 packs I usually order 2 or 3 8 packs at a time my 07 gt500 isn't my daily but it could easily be done with a daily too just gotta order in bulk it ends up being about a dollar or so more per gallon give or take so it's not bad for the results and mpg isn't effected it's same as 93. It has this stuff in it that makes it stay suspended even if it's out of use for a while and basically acts as a fuel stabilizer. Only downside is you'll go through plugs little quicker but with boost you wanna change em more anyways 10k miles or so should be sufficient.
Hi Alex, as usual very informative. I know its off topic I have 10R80 Whippled 2020 GT with no weight reduction. I roll race it legally at track 30-130mph but have not done the 1/4 in it. I put down 660whp on 93 my goal is to get squeeze into the 9s in the 1/4 on a prepped surface/tyre. How much more hp do I need?
There’s an error at 0:44. The gear ratio chart on the right is supposed to say 2011-2017 GT, not 2015-2020. That’s probably the fault of whoever made the chart. Great info as usual otherwise!
I have a vortech, I’m at 700whp. I don’t track mine but I’m on the stock clutch/Trans/DS haven’t had a problem myself. Only couple times I’ve had some clutch slip on back to back pulls.
@stevencoyote746 depends on the offset you may have had an incorrect offset for an s550 there should be plenty of room for that setup with the right offset and backspace
Excellent information Thanks! Soon will install the ESS G3 125mm Now i have 4.56 gear differential installed on my 2020 GT manual trans, which is too short for boosted application. Question: i have to switch back to 3.55 Stock diff? What you think? No drag race only weekend fun. Thanks!
I'm surprised u have 456 gear everybody is always afraid to do that w a manual gen 3 for some reason I been saying they need 456 na since the 2018 first came out the lowest people will usually go is 4.09 that is better but still not enough for na imo. You got any videos on your setup na I'd be curious to see 456 in action on an 18 up.
I'm boosted with the G2 Kit with the G3 Intercooler on the 125mm but I'm upping the boost finally next week with the 120mm and I have 3.55 gears on my 2020. If you're not dragging it then you'll love the long gears for the centrifugal to breathe up top. That 3-4 shift gets them every time. Enjoy the kit.
@@SaVarMatner thanks 🙏 I have manual transmission, hope will be okay to switch back to limited slip stock 3.55. I really love my 4.56 built Torsen differential, but is really short..check my short yt videos
@@szabopali NP. My s550 is on my channel. I'm still adding stuff so check it out and see if that is the way you want to go. I'll be dropping a new update in about 2 to 3 weeks from now. Waiting on some things to come in.
