GEN 9 GREECE REGION?! | Pokemon Wisdom & Madness!! (Starters & FULL Pokedex) 

As a Greek , I'd like to see this happen (as long as they don't make the player go broke to troll us). :)

the pokemon line based of of Icarus is clever asf. the slightly melting body representing Icarus wings starting to melt as he get closer to the sun, the flying/ghost typing representing his fall to his death, fucking genius right there.

The Icarus themed pokemon is insane!! The display of the melted wax wings, becoming a ghost type after defeat, even maybe the Sun on the chest to symbolize Icarus flying too close to it

This artist needs to get with a design team and create these in a version of his own game...these were incredible

As a Greek, I'm dying for a Greek Pokémon region. I expect something like this for a long long time

Correct me if I'm wrong. The red regional variant is supposed to be the Spartans who were more aggressive whereas the blue variant is the Athenians who were more structured. This could also show in their typing's, with dark being a more attacking type and steel being defensive.

This brings back so many memories because I used to be a Greek Mythology nerd and loved the Zodiacs

Its not that he can't say the names, its the fact that he's adding letters, I cant stop laughing.

The starters are based off of The Deer sacred animal of Artimes The Minotaur Charon, Fairyman off the underworld and a shark (witch are labeled as mindless killing machines)

Dopest thing was all the zodiacs just hidin in plain site.

I'm 4 minutes in and I all ready want pokemon wisdom and pokemon madness to be the gen 9 for real

I would absolutely love if Greece ended up being the inspiration for generation 9. I never been there, but read so much Greek mythology all throughout high-school, and with all the stories, and characters it would make a great region.

I would love it if on your birthday you can get an in-game mythical Pokemon based on your Zodiac sign. Like if you were born on July 1st, you would get a Pokemon based on the crab constellation, and so on.

Greece or Rome would be cool and l the concept but, Game Freak will find a way to turn the rich cultural country of Greece into a lackluster and linear mess like they did to the Poor UK/Galar if they decide to make that into the next region. These fan concepts are great but it also saddens me will *NEVER* get something as good from Game Freak...

I hope gen 9 will be based on Greece🙏

I love mythology namely Greek and Roman so I am just loving this concept.

Mythero's evolutions are based on the greek heroes perseus and heracles, who defeated medusa and the nemean lion respectively. The cool thing is that both of them carried a trophy from their victory. Perseus carried the head of medusa, and Heracles the coat of the nemean lion, and for the evolutions, you can see aspects of the pokemon based on those two monsters in the design. Love the nod both to the myths and to the regions lore.

I just love that quite a few of them are biased off the zodiac signs. Example- Glaciancer is biased of the Cancer zodiac sign who’s I guess persona is a crab and the actual is kinda how the claws are placed

When you mentioned that you wanted Inteleon to be a water/ghost type. I know the feeling because I wanted my boy Cinderace to be fire/electric type.

Let me just say.. they did EVERYTHING right with the “Venomusa” line. Definitely my favorite from this region, I’d love to see it in games!

I love Greece and Greek mythology, so I naturally love all these Pokémon and know what they are based off of. The only one I wished was changed was the dralibra because libra, spirit animal is a grey wolf

As someone who has a decent understanding of Greek mythology, the little shoutouts all around are pretty cool. I don't really know how much I vibe with half of a game's Pokedex being rooted in myth, but most of the designs themselves feel very authentic!

Grass type: based on a fawn (baby deer) and the faun aka Phil from Hercules and Mr Tumnus from the Narnia series. Mr Tumnus comes out on the second evo Final evo based on The Greek god Artemis

These are some awesome designs, no lie. They need to be recognized by the Pokemon company and Incorporated into series.

If there will be a Greek region the games will be called "Pokemon Ocean" and "Pokemon Mountain" . Greek islands of course... so many, plus great mountains like the famous Meteora!!

Icareath is from the story of Icarus who had wings made of wax and was told not to fly too high but flew too close to the sun and melted his wings and caused him to fall to his death. So I'm really digging that one and all the research he has put into these Pokémon

I honestly don't think the official Pokémon company could do a better job of a Greek region Pokémon. Pretty much every single Pokémon I thought was either adorable or cute and/or had a really inspired concept behind it. This is amazing!

Yo Infamous! For the next one of these videos, Italy is an absolute must for a Pokémon region. Italy has costal, mountains, volcanos, snow peaks, and flatlands/ basins. Italy has such a rich culture and a unique renaissance style. Fashion,elegance, and history! What an amazing combination for a region. Plus it could complement the Kalos region as both Italy and France do irl.

Icareath has the best backstory out of any mon in this dex. It's the story of Icarus who had wings made out of wax that melted when he flew to close to the sign. That's completely resembled in the design and even the evolution of the Pokémon, as it evolves after being defeated during the day. That is such a cool design

I think that all these designs look good the Fire starter’s Final evolution being a Minator The Grass starter’s Evolutions giving me a Styter vibe The regional bird a Griffin there are also a Chimera, Centaur, Harpy, Cerberus, Peggerous and thier are even some Greek Gods like Hercule, Apriditie and Poseidon and my favourite of the first Fighting type slit evolution is the second which reminds of Hercule/ Hercules and the second set reminds me of the Amazons.

I want to see part 2 also could be cool if the gym leaders elite 4 and champion are halfblooded (half human half god) when the champion is the son of zeus (master of electric and flying) 2 of the elite 4 are son of Poseidon(master of water ice and horses pokemon) and son of hades (master of ghost and dark types) and each for their respective god parent Also would be awsome they have a river stick place which gran special powers (like z moves gigantamax or mega) that for two turns your pokemon will be untouchable (can't take damage) and a special move but after the second turn you will have for two turns very low defence and can't attack at all for one turn for recovery

The split evolusjon was based on half bloods and rip cus one or two of them was romen

Very Interesting, I Liked Saberning, I Picture It’s Ability Being Lightning-Rod And It’s Hidden Ability(Now I’m Making This Ability Up) Being Lightening-Storm! An Ability That Makes It So Every Time An Electric Type Move Is Used By The Pokémon It‘s Speed Stats Get Raised! Also I’d Be Going With The Fire Starter.

The fire starter is on my team. I love the Minotaur in greek mythology, with the chimera one, as well as the gladiator rock/dark pokemon, same with treelagon, electydra, and lastly inferberus. Thats my team for this region. Im excited to see the regional varients, legendaries, and fossils. I have very high expectations for the legendaries

funny how the starters are both weak to each other in secondary typing. the grass one is strong aganst the fire starter but its fighting type move has no effect on ghosts. and the water starter just has advantage on fire sooo
