Alter Ananias Balorio sorry to all people. Who genuinely think this is the best megadrive game. But it’s not even close to that. It’s a very mediocre platformer.

The Knight dude with 50 diamonds adds 1 life hit which carries over to all characters (including base). Max you can add is 4 you get 4 additional hits.

you can extra health points by using the iron knight's ult

That's the 50 Diamond power when you have Iron Knight, this give you 1 extra health on every character (max 7 for the others characters)
