Great info! I have an L83/JKUR with the factory Jeep fan. Works well except when towing. Wondering if that Camaro fan would be a good option. Could it integrate with my Motech swap?
I removed my dual fans just like those and added two 13" spal. How do I wire them in or what do I need? Will the controller you show work for my fans to work at different speed? I had my truck tuned by you sometime back. Just that I decided to get better spacing between engine and stock fans.
How deep is that single large fan from the 2015 SS? Can you give me a measurement from the shroud mounting surface that would go against the radiator core to the back of the motor and also yje diameter of the motor? Also very curious about how I could control that big Spal fan in a non-ECU engine with a plain old Holley double-pumper. The link you have doesn't seem to work any more.TIA-Mike
Have you compared that Camaro fan vs the factory JK fans for air flow? Also, I'm sure you're aware, but just in case you aren't the JT fans are even bigger & move more air that the JL's fans.
Does anyone know if the Camaro fan can be run on normal DC? I've been told it may be possible by grounding the PWM wire. I'm not going to buy a fan to find out. If it can then I've been told by autocoolguy that their PWM controller will control it.

bought the same pwm generator n tested GMC Acadia fan (same as SS n Cadillac XT5 n Tesla X). worked on 100hz (it handles some freq range didn't test it). Turns on ~90% DC (low speed), didn't test the off DC. Looking at this video, he's pressing down arrow to speed up (lower DC). Tesla X fan is opposite (normal i call it), turns on at 15% n goes up from there, probably turns off at 90%, didn't test it.

O. Ok I would have to buy the fan. And were can I find that controller. I would like to put one on my 1996 Silverado has original vortec engine so I think I would need that controller right ?
