😅 you are referring to the Singer competition Diva Dance where he dropped it a half note because he had a throat infection so did the smart thing by being safe. The Bastau concert version you just saw was sung in the exact key of the original movie version. There is a virtual duet where Dimash and the blue alien lady sing together and Dimash is spot on every note except the lady's weird up and down part where his sounds beautiful. Incredible performance.

Since you've seen quite a few performances by now, maybe you'd be interested in learning more about Dimash as a person as well? If so I highly recommend "The Ultimate Dimash Guide" by LiLaSi. It's split into 12 parts(around 10 min each, though it varies depending on topic) and is very well made and easy to follow. What I like the most is that it allows Dimash to speak for himself by compiling relevant clips and interviews, so it's engaging to watch and doesn't get too wordy. They make for good reactions too since there's a lot to talk about.

Nice reaction. Dimash actually did the Diva Dance during the Singer competition 2017 in China. That version, Dimash gave it his all and ended up flat on his back at the last note. By the way, that last note was not in the original sound track. He added that, just because he could. The soundtrack for the movie was sung by a female opera singer, but with computer assistance to make it really "un-singable" by human. Yes, many female singers attempted to sing this, but no one came as close as Dimash, and he is a man. Dimash is simply out of this world and effortlessly pure voice. Only love and respect for Dimash.

I loved the 5th Element movie but have not seen it in a long time. Most of the Dimash Concerts are at least 3 hours long. This was such an incredible performance, especially the downward wiggle like a ladder. I actually saw him do the long version but it was recorded on a cell phone and is quite blurry. Sound was good. There are many places between phrases where he takes a breath. We know he has three lungs, but not even he can sing for a minute and a half on one breath 😂

My only critique with your reaction video is that it wasn't an encore. Although he has been singing awhile at this point, he sang about another hour after this song. For the most part, Dimash doesn't do encores. He generally has 3 hours + concerts. He did his first encore in Hong Kong Dec. 2023. It was a special anniversary concert after all.

He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. It’s really fantastic. I love it and I’m sure you will like it, too🥰.
