Hearing other women being honest about the same problems and insecurities I have makes me feel better about myself. It's a good reminder that I'm not alone. We're all going through it. No one wants to be old but being old doesn't mean your life is over. I think the best thing we can do is talk about it and hold each other up. So, thanks for making this video. You're a real one. ❤

Hey Teresa, thanks for sharing some of your personal struggles with acne and aging issues. I'm of East Asian descent too, and never thought about the way my skin looks or getting older really that deeply. I just wash my face and put on some cream, I didn't even wear sunscreen for the longest time! But, I'm turning 32 next year, and all my friends around my age (some even younger) have started beauty routines and serums. And unfortunately it has affected me as well, and suddenly, I am also buying some serums too (The Ordinary, fairly inexpensive but still the costs add up). I've also started getting at least 10+ grey hairs, and people are starting to point them out to me. I tell them I don't care (but secretly I do, and I wish they would stop making a shitty joke about looking "on trend"). Anyways, I'm not sure where I am going with this, I guess I am just venting to a stranger online. Here in Europe, it's not as bad when you age, people here tend to just accept it. If I had stayed in Canada maybe I would've been treated worse? Who knows. Again, thanks for sharing your story, it really brought a tear to my eye. I just wish society would be kinder to us
