I’ve seen reactions from rappers, farmers in a southeastern Asia speaking Urdu reading subtitles for the lyrics, heavy metal reviewers, music teachers, and a therapist. At 61, I think to myself, hopefully when these Gen-z and younger figure this shit out there will be enough Gen-x and such left to help with what it means. Then I remember that the last Generation to truly live the American Experience (as children) was the WW2 generation and they are all gone. Everyone living in the US today is and has been living under the ever-increasing grip of progressivism that came into the forefront in the early 1920s and exploded in the '30s and '40s under Roosevelt. Not one person in the US knows what life was like before Social Security or remember never having to file a tax return. To be fair I will say 30k a year is barely enough to live on thanks to inflation. But FUCK the politicians in DC. another fun fact, when the min wage was $1.25/hr iin 1964 those 5 quarters back then would be worth $22.50 today and it's all because they were made with 90% silver. The value of gold and silver, I think are actually artificially deflated. Over time, technological advancements and economy of volume bring prices down. The value of the dollar continuously goes down, and metals should be higher when compared.
