I was also aware of that when I wrote the comment 7 months ago. That being said, I still commented what I first thought because some of the slang used hasn't been used in a while and I found it gave off similar vibes to what an out of touch adult would say. I'm aware that that was the intention. I didn't think the comment would get this much attention, even 7 months later. I just left it up and moved on. And the usage of the word like is completely unnecessary and used how millennials use the word like.

The correct way without slang would be "if someone said that to my face", or "in person".
