The point isn’t that you’ve taken them. The point is that while Gen Z may have done things Millenials did but that doesn’t mean it’s significant to Gen Z. It’s more significant to Millenials because it was created in the Millenial generation and was more prominent, popular, and active in the Millenials generation. Just because you use and do certain things doesn’t mean it belongs to your generation. That phrase was rather just a way to rhyme and create a shortened line.

I'm a 00' liner so I grew up with Harry Potter and I love it still so much. Harry Potter is not a millennial "owned" thing at all :)

I'm a millennial and agree for my own. I don't own a single DVD. Who even uses them anymore. 🙄

@@TopazTK I grew up with both DVDs and VHS. We had every single Disney movie on VHS. The last time I bought either a disk or a cassette was over 20 years ago. If the disk was dirty or the VHS was feeling hangry, you'd have to pray to the gods your movie was still good. I remember having Netflix in like 2005, and being happy I could watch their DVDs and just return them without paying $20+ per movie. If I wanted to watch it more than once, I'd rip it. We're also the generation that made Kazaa/LimeWire a thing, and then minimalism became trendy with us because we saw how mindless consumerism affected the previous gens ("buying things you can't afford to impress people you don't like"), and of course student loans made us poor. We've then got the iPod/iTunes changing how we consumed music as well, and very quickly collecting physical copies of anything felt like a waste of space and money to many of us. I'm glad you enjoy your collection, but I'll leave physical movies to the genX/boomers who don't know how to set up their Chromecast to watch Netflix.

Definitely taken a buzzfeed quiz at least a few times in my life, I had a lot of vhs movies I used to watch, my family owns way too many dvds to be considered sane, I’m also a Harry Potter fan, I enjoy Billie Eilish and I don’t watch the office lol
