Micheal is probably the only you-tuber that i would listen to him advertising the sponsor. 1- because he actually picks interesting things to advertise. 2- its the Vsause voice that we all love and cant get enough of. 3- Micheal has done so much for us that i feel its disrespectful to not at least hear him out. 4- I need to hear him say "And as always, thanks for watching" and skipping to the end of the video feels like cheating.

This is awesome!! Im currently building my own genaille lucas rulers, I hope it’ll work as well as micheal makes it look!

I was taught Genaille-Lucas Rulers when I was a child for how to do quick multiplication for large numbers without a calculator. You can even draw them on paper. You make a grid for the numbers you need. Lets pick 435 x 25, for this you need a grid that 3 squares wide and 2 squares deep, the number go on the left and top of the grid, 25 and 435 respectively. Each square is bisected from the top right corner to the bottom left corner. Each square is a multiplication of the number on the top and the one on the left. 4 x 2, 3 x 2, 5 x 2 and so on until the grid is completed. To write it in the square the left of the bisect is tens and right is units, so 4 x 2 = 0/8 and 2 x 5 = 1/0. Once the grid is completed you continue each bisect to a new line to create a set of "channels". Now add the numbers in each of those, carrying any 10s as a 1 to the next one, starting right to left. so, and I hope the comment formats properly, 25 x 435 = 0/8 0/6 1/0 2/0 1/5 2/5 1 (carried) 0+2+8 = 0 0+1+6+1= 8 2+5+0= 7 5 = 5 so 25 x 435 = 10,875

You need also to do it where the number you are multiplying by is bigger than 9. You've got to then do an addition too, which makes the thing less useful. A lot of people could probably do a long multiplaction as quickly as doing a multiplication on these things where it is >9.
