I'm a few weeks late Poots said the gamblers chest was a financial loss, do you think that could effect KDM's output down the road?? Should I get the gamblers chest ASAP if they might not reprint it for financial means?
I think the goal going forward will be to always have GCE in stock. It was a financial loss because many Kickstarter backers only paid $100 USD for it. That is likely more than 60% of the community.

You can go click the campaign page right now for the Percival lantern. It lists both the Percival T-Shirt and then Percival. Blackest Bundle does not say it includes any T-Shirts. It also just lists Percival.

For sure. These questions were collected from within the KDM community. I think many just wanted more clarity on what it meant. I hope everyone gets the new version, whatever that happens to be. It was also very nice of Poots to try get Percival out to everyone who had her listed as part of the pledge/pre-order.
This is great🔥🔥The most interesting part is the last part where Adam talks about getting new players involved in the game. The way I see it KDM closes itself more and more and is getting harder and harder to get into. There’s so much stuff and for a new player it can be confusing what to get. An example is in order; if I were to get core game and Frogdog expansion I would encounter cards in Frogdog that are nowhere to be seen in core. Seed patterns, knowledge and scout discoveries. For a totally new player that’s just confusing. I really think Adam should do a scaled down version or a standee version. Heresy I know but nonetheless it could bring in more new players.
I have given this some thought as well. I would find ways to piece meal core. White Lion, Antelope, Phoenix, Butcher, Hand and Watcher. Remove all extra narrative sculpts as well. Just give players the smallest version of core and try to cut the price down by $100-150. This would also allow you to break all the core stuff off into the node system. King's Man and GSK are not used in GCE, so this version of core will work well with GCE bundled. Just something to get the price down more and still provide a full experience. GSK was never in 1.3 anyway.
@@BraMithra I think the way to go is a standee version or a version with lesser quality models. A big turn off for a lot of people is the hobby aspect of putting together the models. As far as node system; to complex and much of a hassle for new players imo. Streamline the shit out of the game and bring the price WAY down. You say bring the price down about 100-150$. I say bring the price down TO 100-150$. It’s the only way if you want to introduce this game to the masses.
Yes 150$ should be the entry. Kill all minis for standees, maybe keep the 4 starting survivor minis and no standees for armor sets. remove gold smoke knight. Remove 1 stack of gear cards.
@@steffenbue6065 100% agree. I would even consider buying that thing to introduce people to the game. For new players this universe is getting too big and too overwhelming. I agree with Adam that KDM is a lifestyle game but there are ways to make the entry way easier for new players.
