Let's have some fun and express our opinions. These are my opinions and could be wrong. I am trying to have fun, joke around, and not be too serious. I understand this update is good and bad for many in the KDM fan base.

The delays are meh to me. I have so much unplayed and unpainted content that if I don’t get anything new for a year it would almost be a relief. I am pretty disappointed with the parasite queen changes, though. She was one of the monsters I was most hype for; her original artwork was so mysterious, so otherworldly, so imposing and horrifying, and the first model seemed to match that spirit pretty closely. This new one though, just looks like another pinup slapped haphazardly on an overdone scenic base. Now, she looks like she’s supposed to be eye candy for the viewer, which just completely spoils the sense of “I am nothing in the face of this nightmare” that I felt from the artwork. Holding out hope that they decide to release the original as well, maybe as a naked release in plastic.

I am also not a huge fan of the upscaled size. This is mostly because it is a true upscale, as it is double the size. It is neat it is a 4x4, the actual monster being bigger is neat. Would have been neat to see something like this artwork shown. Make the monster larger, to be 4x4, but actually create more arms and hands all over the base.

They're remastering old stuff? Is it everything or specific models? I searched but I just found this update. Somehow I missed any of that.

Remasters of Death High stuff. They do old things from time to time as well. There is no schedule for it.

Oh yeah temper our expectations that you the company set....yeah sure... Maybe Poots should just set real expectations to begin with, he seems to be the only one that really needs to have his expectations adjusted. Plus keep on beating the dead horse of CNY, as if that's not a known thing every year. It was a bit of a meh update, I expect more of the same for next month. Black Friday's update better be awesome, though better not be a lot of COD in there since I don't think there is much left for them to share. I agree though that I liked the older Parasite queen much better, I mean the bigger one is cool, but it's like Kaiju size now. I guess some things will be a bit easier to paint, but also it's like a major project to paint now too. Atnas was huge too, but not nearly as much different detail as this thing, it will take forever to complete. Ugh and the mold line on all the arms is going to be a bitch and a half to scrape off, though maybe that will be a bit easier to do in the bigger scale easier to hold on to.

Production takes a long time, letting people know far ahead of time that CNY may get in the way because of holiday rushes followed by CNY is good communication.

@@sixthsacrifice4458 Hello Sixth! I agree, it is nice to be open about expected delays. However, I am pretty sure all of us long time KDM backers at this point know all about CNY, as this will be our 6th one now? See what I did there. OHH!

Yeah. I am really glad to hear that Pariah and the Wanderers are in production. That is good news. Everything would need to be in production at this point in time to reach that initial pitched timeline. In all honesty, at this point, Poots should just not make road maps until the entire wave is known to be in finalization. Not in production, just in the final stages, like Red Witches currently is. Then we would not need our expectations tempered. At this point, CoD is not going to be Q1 2025. It will be lucky to be Q4 2025.
