Congratulations Nadine! I remembered watching your Canada Day video when I was in high school. In fact, you were one of the first channels I have subscribed to since I am a massive Canadaphile. Seeing your videos on Canada (especially the one about the 2010 Winter Olympics) really encouraged me to get into Canadian studies as well. As someone who was dealing with social anxiety and depression, watching your videos really cheered me up throughout my days in high school. I really enjoyed seeing how your RU-vid channel progressed (especially given how I have gained a lot of interest in travelling and learning about other cultures) and I really enjoyed seeing how you matured as a young woman. Congratulations you guys! A boy! How exciting! I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with my first and it’s a girl! I’ve been watching you Nadine for so long and I feel like we are in the same place in life at this time. Came here to see if there were any comments talking about how making gender a big deal like this isn’t the best idea but nope haven’t found any yet. Wild that gender reveals still exist when the child doesn’t even know themself yet. Congrats on creating another life though! Such a special thing to be able to do!!
