Haha that's sad but true! I've seen more than one wildfire start over this and I remember reading about a grandmother-to-be taking a piece of metal through the head after her son basically created a pipe bomb for the reveal.

Those ones where you pull something from underneath ALWAYS fall down … not the smartest design. Popping balloons is scary for kids … And this “poppers” spewing out coloured dust just seems dangerous, as do the fireworks. Surely the best, safest, easiest gender reveal is just to open the envelope with the scan result on it?
