It's kind of insulting to even call it baby sitting - it's your damn children! I don't like when men belittle the task of a woman looking after the children at home also, ask any woman, looking after children is a job in itself. Personally my manhood and my lady's perception of manhood would have to be questioned if it's acceptable for me to be at home while my woman works. I can't rock with that.

The Change I agree with you on the baby sitting, however some relationships work for those with younger kids if the woman is making the bulk of the money.

Ok, but if the woman is making the bulk of the money, how did that situation create itself? Because if she was making more money before the relationship got serious and as a man I haven't figured a way to increase my pocket for the years I've been with her knowing we are starting a family my manhood is in question. If I haven't planned ahead to create or find another job or step up somehow, my manhood is in question. It's not that I'm competing with her, it's just that I understand my position and responsibility as a man.

That is because some of the jobs that pay more are not natural to men, They require that you stay indoors, minimal physical activity, long hours of focus, and verbal skills. Men are more physical that is why we gravitate to physical jobs where we work with out hands and usually outside instead of indoors. My fiance is partner at a law firm and she has to wear a suit and look professional while I work doing electrical systems repairs usually outside wearing jeans, boots, and the company ID on my chest. Obviously she earns a lot more than I do but that is only because she is very successful at her career and dedicated her life to it. I earn a decent wage on my own not because I am lazy but because my interests are somewhere else. I simply didn't have the patience or the temperament to bury my face in books or sit in drawn out meetings which are torturous to me. I like being free outside, using my hands, tinkering, exploring, and having some physical activity besides the gym. I am successful in my own way but my fiance earns more because she invested into a careers that simply pays more and that is what makes her happy. My job pays less but who cares? I am willing to earn less if it means I don't have to live miserable existence doing a job I hate. This way I can dedicate more of my positive energy to my fiance and dedicate myself to her and provide for her my devotion and loyalty and yes also take charge whenever she is tired or wants to take time off.
