I think that if he's telling the truth, in a lot of these recent cases, there are actual gov programs through NSA and surveillance that have audio or video evidence of celebrities doing crazy stuff. They get at former body guards and or other associates to release information about the subject, while on the back end feed that subject videos and stories in their social media algorithms, and see how they respond to those stories. That way based on their reactions or the way they move when they hear the info, they can use that to get more orders from a judge for more surveillance to build a bigger case against them. Because if Gene is just sharing this info without gov backing it's extremely dumb in terms of his safety.
