Gene Harris was very popular during the late 50’s/60’s with his marvellous trio - “The Three Sounds” - recorded outstanding series for the best jazz label - Blue Note -. Among the best funky, soulful pianistsduring those best of Jazz Years. Love this live album with Frank Wess’s bluesy, “floating” flute playing folks. Enjoy, Dig, G’day & a swingin’ Cheers!

@@thebassshow6489 ......naturally ! For example: The best drummer Oscar Peterson ever had was Ed Thigpen ! For me incomprehensible, one of the followers was MD. I believe, there must be economically aspects to hire MD. Thigpens drive was spectacular, Drews is not it........kind regards
@@peterfriedrich4632 So where are all these videos of you with your amazing drumming? You can see my playing in my videos, where's yours? If you're too ashamed to show your own playing then you don't look very credible when you dismiss named players. I think you are a a rubbish player as I know lots of named players and have never heard one of them speak badly about their peers.
