That is certainly true, elitists are unbearable and most of the time listen to pretentious shit. But that does not make Kiss (or more precisely him) more appealing. He speaks about massive success and the last recognisable worldwide hit Kiss had was “Shandi” 44 years ago. He even left the band afterwards for a couple years.

People think that, because 80% of the time its applicable lmao i absolutely dont support mainstream garbage. I also dont support sellouts, or bands catering to trends or poppy ideas to broaden their audience, i dont support support bands who go from making DAMN good music in their early years to making garbage unrecognizable stuff tailored for tik tokers. You can tell when a band is getting old and in a desperate attempt to stay relevant they change everything or just flat out "try to be hip" with the new generations and in doing so either offend the loyalists and oldheads who GAVE them their start by proxy of support, or make the original listeners cling to their old stuff and denounce their new stuff. Then the NEW generation loses interest because of their gen z ADHD and fad following, then the band has next to NO one left! Lol then they fade into obscurity! The more tight knit a community the more loyalty. Example. "Black Magick SS". Solid band. Solid fanbase. And they will always have their supports. And i wonder why? Thats a band thats NOT allowed to "evolve" or change lmfao theyre trapped by their reputation at this point. Theyd have to take on aliases and monikers at that point. But no need. Theyll always have their fan base. And for obvious ambiguous reasons, theyll probably never grow.

Megadeth put out the albums Cryptic Writings, Risk, Countdown To Extinction, Youthanasia, The World Needs A Hero, and Supper Collider. David Ellefson wore 500 dollar designer leather pants during the "Risk" album phase. Anthrax did Rap and put out Sound of White Noise and We've Come For You All. Slayer wore eyeliner, whips, and chains, and they also put out a Nu Metal album in Diaboulos In Musica. Black Sabbath put out Forbibben! Ozzy wears eyeliner, capes, and tights. Death Angel basically changed their name to "The Organization" and changed their sound and style. They did the same thing when they formed Swarm. Pantera wore lipstick and panties on stage with teased hair. Gary Holt (Exodus) cut and dyed his hair blonde and wore basketball jerseys on stage, looking like Limp Bizkit. He also wore polo shirts. Flotsam and Jetsom put out Custro. Accept had a Glam phase. Celtic Frost had a Glam Phase. Judas Priest put out Turbo Lover. Machine Head cut, dyed, and braided their hair in the 90s. Testament tried Death Metal vocals and did ballads. Alex Skolnick (Testament) did a rap song, and he's in a jazz band. Obituary did a rap song. The list goes on of bands "selling out," as you call it. Silly comment about "mainstream garbage" when tons of bands are played on the radio. No way Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Dio, Metallica, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Megadeth, Anthrax, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Judas Priest, etc, are garbage! All of which are played on the radio all the time.

I'd have to disagree in certain respects they are very professional when it comes to putting on a show and Paul and Gene are geniuses when it comes to marketing and merchandising, I would say their music isn't that powerful on youtube or on a disc but they used to have Ace Frehley who is one of the best guitar players ever, their replacements are able to play those songs too but they've definitely gotten greedy and a drag to listen to outside the stage
