I LOVE when Gene tells some guy off camera to *please sit down* 1:45 This is like Gene's presentation, man! Stop fucking with the stuff on the table sir.
He probably was so positively giddy he'd again unloaded one or more of his boxes of crap, that he decided to prank this dude and signed it "Punky Meadows." By the time the guy discovered the ruse, Simmons was already back in Beverly Hills swimming laps around his hot tub.
Promo glossy's and Hard Rock pins??? No thanks. eBay is flooded with that crap if you really want it. Glad I sold my KISS collection when I did. Was once a huge fan. Had a whole room chock full of KISS merch. Seen them live a bunch of times. They lost me after the "Farewell" tour....18 years ago. 🙄 Now it's just sad....
Meyzen76 he gave him like two or three pins that are worth atleast 40-70 each depending on which one that's nothing the two gloss cards are about the same amount not rare at all include the stupid figure probably was cheaply made wouldn't give 10 bucks for the stupid coin again not worth anything and the box of cds not records cds I'd say that's almost 100 bucks and that's even pushing it.
Yourre probaby not a real fan anyway . They randomly put in stuff without ryme and reaason, Some people got cool stuff. Like Genes old wallet/ planner. from the 80s. thats pretty cool. or maybe even full press kits.
Gene is the most greediest guy alive; $50,000 to meet him I would not even pay $50.00. They should hang it up Paul can not sing any more.Gene would sell his mother if he could.
I'm looking at that little fold on the corner of the pic as Gene takes it and says," so this is mint as you can tell.." lol. why is this shit in a bloody vault?? I'd gladly trade all that crap for a copy of any Rush album..!!!
Gene gives you two of something so that you need to give up your first born to go and complete the set? "Here's two pins... now go pay money to get the other 100 pins you need and create a demand for this crapola!" Screw that! I want Mint belt buckles, record player, pajamas, sleeping bag, Marvel comic etc.... Instead you get garbage.
I just read that in order to get Gene to come over to your house you have to pay a bargain price of 50 GRAND! WTFFFFFFFF!?! I love KISS but there are better things to buy for 50 GRAND.
He does sell the crap out of that vault containing a whole lot of empty space and filler compartments. Gene appears a bit eager to explain why it's great value, but at the same time resolute and shameless. Oh man. I hope it means more to KISS fans than it would to me. The Vault could have been a $200 box set, if the quality of the material was high enough for the general public, and that's hard to know. Anyway the fans are happy. One other RU-vidr got an unused ticket from an old show and a weird old KISS scarf from that lower compartment, *sigh...*
Isn't that Space Ace on the couch? Were you able to get his signature on the photos too? I'm pausing looking at some of the items; please tell me Ace didn't sign above Tom Thayer's image. Kenny, you needed to sit on that couch next to Ace and you guys could tell each other jokes. Remember that 1978 interview with Tom Snider, where Ace jokingly told told Tom: "No, I'm a plumber." Was that literally "Dreams do come true."? or was that a play on the lyrics from "When you wish upon a star?"
MAN. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG HERE. GENE IS A BUSINESS MAN AND A ROCK ICON. NOTHING WRONG WITH MAKING MONEY OFF THE FANS. IF THE FANS WON'T TO PAY IT THATS COOL. THIS FAN SEEMS HAPPY AND THAT IS WHAT MATTERS. PEOPLE IN THE COMMENTS NEED TO STOP TALKIN SHIT. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE IN YOUR LIFE? KNOW ONE IS PAYING YOU TO SHOW UP AT YOUR HOUSE. YOU CAN'T EVEN AFFORD GENE AND I AM NOT A KISS FAN.
I've always said that money can make people evil and rude .So charging money to sign autographs for fans ,it depends on how much it cost ,because time is money!!
This is beyond cool. If one considers what Gene gets paid for one hour of concert time, the cost of the Vault time with him more than covers the cost of The Vault itself. Then to get items from his personal collection PLUS his signatures??? It's really a steal - and the lifetime memory is just priceless!
