Gene is an incredibly intelligent dude. People don't like him because he's blunt and straightforward. I think he could make a post-kiss career out of just getting up there and talking and people would pay.

This is probably the most casual and natural interview I’ve ever seen with Gene! He’s still very much Gene Simmons, but he doesn’t seem as scripted or like he’s just giving the same sales pitch that he usually does. He seems genuine for once and not like a robot. 😂

Iv watched a bunch of Gene simmons more recent interviews and that bracelet he wears damn it's noisy. He has changed not bragging as much lately. I love Kiss own a bunch of Kiss stuff as I get older I starting to wonder why it was so important to me lol.

Nothing to do with being rich except maybe the smart one. It's like this young one, whatever or whoever you are, I am, we are prisoners in these bodies until we die. So smart people realize that being forced to physically suffer for years basically ends your life as you know it. 75%, or more, of the time in your days and freedom in-your-head-to enjoy whatever you enjoy in life will be replaced by pain, drugs for relief, doctor visits, struggles with depression frequent trips to the emergency room, etc etc etc. And this happens to a lot of people, 10s of millions in the USA alone. Smart people, thru their evolved sense of empathy, realize that avoiding things that will ruin your life is amoung the most important of life skills. Obviously if your passion is for skydiving off mountains you free climbed, you may still do dumb things as a calculated risk since nothinh else in life matters. But most people take these dumb risks everyday for no real benefit except beating some stranger to the next red light. Catching covid is a dumb thing because not being able to breath normal for months, or the rest of your life, would really suck. Apparently there are a lot more stupid people in the world than many of us assumed prior to the pandemic.... people so stupid they haven't figured out their shallow ego requires a healthy physical body.

He recently had covid and is prolly dealing with long covid. Even though he had a mild case it has no correlation to the severity of the damage done to his body. I had a super mild case in the summer of 2020 and it still feels like I’m not exhaling all my breath so it feels weird when I inhale.

Actually, he doesn’t have a clue. And lies about drugs never doing them. I watched him smoke hashish or marijuana on stage Phoenix, Arizona veteran Memorial Colosseum 78 or 79 he was on my side of the stage hitting on my girlfriend of course. His roadie came up some steps on the left side of the stage, handed him a brass chamber pipe, and he proceeded to hit that pipe and blow the smoke straight up in the air and he smiled. His arrogance overwhelms him.
