Wifey starts talking about bug spray and Travis immediately starts scratching 🤣. Talking about biting insects makes most people feel a little itch... We are loving these camping videos and reviews. Thank y’all.
They carry the goats over there on a boat to eat the grass down and then they put them back with the other ones. I'm happy y'all went to coffee. We live 5 miles from there and we go all the time
The reflective mesh works very well. I'm a police dog raiser and trainer and I use those to cover the dog trailer and vehicle in the summer. Huge difference
It’s nice to see you spend time with the family and relax, You work very hard in the garden most of the week you did the right thing enjoy life always. Thanks for sharing your Journey. Love all the videos I always learn something.
All the sand came from what is called 17 Mile River, which runs through the park property. A lot of days of the year it is completely dry. It really is just a creek but the story I heard was that the creek got named as a river because the state would not put a park on a creek. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences
Beautiful little family. I have a small single axle pull behind. When I put my bracer Jack's Down I use a drill. you could probably use it putting the pop up up as well. Time and back saver. I'm just 43 pretty pitiful.lol
I love y’all’s videos! We are currently looking for our first camper. We’re in Alabama but hope to go to some of the parks you guys have reviewed. You should check out Cheaha State Park in Alabama. It’s beautiful! Also, Brooklyn always looks so cute! Love the sunglasses 😎
Brooklyn that little green flowered dress/cover up in the last part is so precious! Would love to know where you found it! It looks so cool and comfy for a summer day!
I love seeing y'all having fun together! At my age, I'd rather stay home with my dogs, garden and chickens, but I always forward your videos so that my "camping friends" can see what you're up to and hopefully subscribe. One of my best friends is planning a camping trip to the Florida Caverns State Park Campground in October! I haven't seen her since before we moved, so I'm really looking forward to that!
A state park with good T.P.?? 🤯 We bring our own, even the kids are TP snobs. 😂 Nice job on the pancakes. I'm debating between packing pancake mix and premaking waffles to reheat next time. 🤔
Yes! We need to start packing our own! Smart idea! It is a hard decision! I've tried reheating bready items and think it would be easiest if you brought a toaster. Tried over the fire and it just ended up half burnt/half cold.
@@PopUpLife what I've done (and am doing in the next day or 2 actually) is make and freeze waffles, then reheat in a skillet on our outdoor stove. ...and I just realized I forgot butter. 😆 Good thing we always have cooking oil.
GOAT ISLAND;;;LOL;;;;NEAT LITTLE CAMP GROUND;;;;COUPLE A NEAT LITTLE VARMENTS RUNNIN AROUND WITH YOU GUYS ALSO;;;;KEEP EM OUTSIDE FOR THE DAY IS COMIN THAT THEY WILL REBEL TO THE COUCH WITH VIDEO GAMES;;;LOL;;;MAYBE NOT;;;;GOOD FOUNDATION THOUGH FOR THEIR FUTURE;;;;
You guys need to check out tugaloo state park. It’s the best state park in the southeast. I’m close by and we can have a grill out and I would appreciate the farm critique!!! But seriously, check out tugaloo state park in ga.
You mentioned you haven't been to Veterans Memorial State Park. FYI it is more expensive because it is contracted out to Coral Hospitality Properties to run for the state. Non water front is $55 a night and water front is $65 a night.
Thanks again for another great review. Yes, feeding ducks is fun. But, as my Girl Scout troop learned, it's terrible for them, the water they are swimming in and for the environment in general. It causes them to rely on humans, it causes angel wing-- look it up-- and pollutes the water and makes them sick. That's why all parks with ducks should have duck food dispensers and educate people on not feeding ducks human food. How far is this park from water recreation for cooling off? I don't think you mentioned how close stores are to this one in this video or how easy it was to navigate into the park. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure.
Good to know. Thank you! No more feeding ducks human food then :) There was no water recreation that we could find near by. I asked in our GA RV group and apparently this campground use to have a pool but it was filled in at some point. I think a water source will be on our list for any campground we visit in the summer. The closest DG was about 4 miles and there was a walmart about 6 miles away, so nothing was too far away.
So this place is 7 mi down the road from me and I’ve always been disappointed that 17 mile river runs through the park and yet there isn’t direct access to it.
