Welcome, we are the Key Family! After being quarantined for what seemed like 4,356 months, we must've gone a little crazy because we decided to buy a pop up camper on a whim! It was the best decision we ever made. After becoming frustrated with the lack of information about campgrounds in our area, we just knew that other campers must feel the same way. So we started filming Campground Reviews! We like to give full tours of the campgrounds, best site recommendations and opinions on the amenities of the campground. Our channel is full of real life moments of camping with two wild boys (ages 3 and 5), pop up camping tricks and tips and all the information on the campgrounds we visit! Thank you for taking time to watch our family reconnect with nature (even if that includes an ipad or two). We would love to hear from you! You can follow us on instagram @pop.up.life -The Key Family
I saw every trip y'all made just waiting for my favorite state park,, Cloudland Canyon to be visited by y'all but, you never went there. Then, all of a sudden, you were gone ! Y'all did a great job too !!😊
Fort Wilderness is great. And you are right you don’t need to go to a Disney park. You can take the boat over to downtown Disney or to some of the hotels and just walk around to see them. We even got into, some of the hotel pools! Lol. There is a ton of stuff to do in the campground so you will have a great time.
Dim sum sho nuff good groceries rat dare,at the Oyster House,I garontee! Hunter's Pub and Steakhouse, over at exit 25 on Interstate 185, is off the chain!
An idea for the kids ! I have seen where you take a dark blue sky print material and pin it to the top of the kids bunk tent and it really darkens the tent and gives them something to look ! It's like sleeping under the stars every night if you choose a print like that !
I saw you tube on dutch oven cooking and they showed a lid lifter, and said that you should keep water heating to add hot water to not cool the cooking stock down
I tried to leave the names of some books I have used on ditch ovens but maybe that is not allowed so I will not enter them again, but there are a lot of books, some show using a tripod with a chain to hook the oven at different heights above the fire
You guys are great, but I have to ask you. You saw that shirt in a store and you just had to buy it?.. I'm just picking on you a little bit but,... What were you thinking?... 🤣🤣🤣😁
Hey friend, I just subscribed. I’ve seen your channel before. We usually camp in a pop up. We just purchased a new to us one and I’m interested in the bike rack that you use. Can you please let me know what it is ?
Y’all are so fun!…we have a set up permanent trailer in the mountains which is seasonal so I’m trying to get my hubby to buy a pop up for the off season and just to go to some other places! Loved your video!
Sure do miss ya"ll. Hope your husband is doing better. Would love to see more videos of your excursions! They are very helpful to me and my family. Thanks.
We came across your video while doing our homework on FDR State Park in hopes of making a trip to the area in the near future. We enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting the review. Safe travels and God bless!
Such a beautiful campground! Beach camping is my favorite kind of camping ⛺️ I live in the NE so my favorite beach campgrounds would be a long car drive for you all. However, my favorite beach campgrounds currently are Assateague State Park, First Landing State Park and Kiptopeke State Park. I definitely love camping at state parks and I haven’t found a beach private campground that I would enjoy camping at. I’m currently a tent camper, and a lot of the private campgrounds have too small of a campsite for me to set up my camping tent.
I love your camping vlogs, that campground looks like so much fun. I currently tent camp with my son but I’m hoping to be able to get a pop up in the future
Only one time in 2 years of camping did we not run to the DG to pick up something. That was Hamburg SP and the only reason was there wasn't anything nearby, had to be a good 30 minutes or better to the next town.
Jones Meats is the store, I drive by there every other week. We have been to seminole twice and it has been cold and windy both times. Great boardwalk and playground for the kids.
We've camped at FDR probably 6-7 times. Always great times. We were just there New Year's weekend and stayed in loop 5. I concur, the Oyster House was very tasty. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.
All the sand came from what is called 17 Mile River, which runs through the park property. A lot of days of the year it is completely dry. It really is just a creek but the story I heard was that the creek got named as a river because the state would not put a park on a creek. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences
