That final reveal took me back to the flightlines in Amberley and Townsville where I had seen and worked with 1 and 6 SQN F111s during my RAAF service. Nice job!

@@doctormig2709 The F 14 tomcat and F111 aardvark was a joint venture between Grumman and General dynamics . I wonder if both different aircrafts share the same wings ,tail wings ,engine power plant . I going to buy hasagawa F111 and F 14 and interchange the wings,tail wings ,and engine nozzles part. But Hasagawa has discontinued the F 111 for a while.

Beautiful bird, one of the most impressive I've been lucky to see just above me, as I was working on a wheat field on summer '89. Such an unforgettable reminder for the young teenager I was.

Thank you for a great video! Took me back to when I was doing models, last one I done was a 1/72 Hasegawa FB-111A, done it as a RAAF F-111G and finished that back in 2010. Luckily, I have about 5 Hasegawa F-111 kits in the stash and have been procrastinating about getting back into the hobby again but find it hard being married and having a young family. One day for sure will.

Looks great. Only issue is the flaps on the front would be down at the same time as the rear flaps.

Not a bad job, Dr MiG. But the slats on the leading edge of the wing should be extended, not closed. The flaps and leading edge slats worked together always.

F-111C was the only Hybrid F-111 type ever made it had a F-111 A fuselage and the FB-111 wings. Read something that back when Australia bought the 24 F-111C they could of bought 100 Buccaneers for the same money in 1972

Great build. I wish I could find a Hasegawa F-111F. I never flew the C model but the A, E, F,, D, and G all had darker cockpits.

Looks good, great work. My only critique would be the flag on the starboard side of the rudder is mirror imaged. It may have been like that in the decals, but the union jack is on the left hand side of the Australian flag.

Yes I have a front Australian flag plate on my Chevy SS and the union jack is left like you pointed out.
