Would new batteries with higher capacity cause the pixels to comeback?

No; it is an issue with the display connector cable, not the battery.

I was the one who bought the Vtech 9127 from you. I'm trying to fix the screen, but it looks like at some point the ribbon cable broke off of the board. Is there a way to fix that?

I suspect (in theory anyways) the same method as seen in this video could be used. I've never tried to repair one that far gone, the difficulty would probably be trying to align it exactly as it was originally, and you may need a hotter reflow to restore the connection.

Where did you get the tool you used, the soldering iron?

The Amazon.

@@JordanU I could not find anything like it; all the soldering or de-soldering tools have much smaller tips... A link perhaps?

What's the temperature of that source of heat you use?, nice video 🤙🏼
@JordanU

it's a 15 watt soldering iron at full power; I'm not sure what the surface temperature of the tool is.

@@JordanU Thanks for the info, I asked because maybe it could burn the flex (i'm a rookie)

@@freddycolina If I had to guess I'd say 2 or 3 hundred degrees, I don't think it's anywhere near as hot as the soldering iron tip would normally be. There's also the rubber piece there which will significantly drop the temperature of the contact point.

Jordan, why do you still have the old phone? This kind is out of date and Apple iPhone or SamSung phone is much better!
@dantheacman6940
@dantheacman6940 4 года назад
@talldude123 Well yes but does it have a built in camera? Does it have a multi-touch OLED display? Does it have a wire-less charging setup? No! That is why you should buy a Apple or SamSung SMARTphone not a old St*pid DUMBphone! And talking of dumb, it would be very dumb of you not to subscribe to my channel!

@talldude123 Don't bother with them, they're just another wild spammer.. Probably Billy Trew with yet another different account..
