2020 F150 4x4 on my second set of these now. 60,000 on first set and had treadlife still but feel better long distance traveling new tires. Very happy with these for the F150.
Put 275 70 18, inch bigger than stock in diameter. At 70 mph gps reads 67 on the odometer. Ride well, quiet, they are 4 ply. They look good from all angles, couldn't be happier. They will tow a lot but the load rating is still sufficient.
Solid review; thanks for your feedback.I’ve been shopping the ATX over similar competitors, and one of my biggest must-haves is snow traction. My usage is similar to yours and your feedback is in-line with others, once you cut out the fluff of some others’ content.
No problem, the snow performance really impressed me honestly. Not that I was ever concerned before, but they really instill some confidence in inclement weather. That and the looks, they've got just the right amount of "all terrain" to them.
@@cturboaddict I agree; opinions differ of course, but I prefer a solid and more traditional A/T tire to a lot of what’s available now. I went back and forth between multiple different options and ultimately decided on the ATX’s in LT275/65R20 for my 2500HD. The factory mall-terrains are wearing like iron but are boring as it gets and starting to spin a lot more in the wet. Bring on winter!
@@cturboaddict How quiet are your ATX’s? I’m loving mine so far; they look just right on the truck. Mine have a bit of a drone from 40-60ish and impressively quiet above & below those speeds. They ride great and handle pretty darn well for how aggressive they are. Can’t wait for this winter!
Great review. Surprised about the MPG loss, but the OEM tire might not have been an LT. I am getting ready to pickup some General ATx in P-rated, I don't really need the LT ( never towing ) just hauling stuff every now and then.
@@hiluxrunner So far they are really nice. P rated general ATx. I had nitto ridge grappler P rated before. They were a tad less noisy. Haven't driven in much snow yet, some and overall pleased with them. Only had them for a few months and showing no signs of wear yet. These are much more reasonably priced and a deeper tread. Ride smooth and no difference in MPG from my nitto's.
I was hoping the dynapros was better but looks like thrs a trade off after some mileage. Noise mpg and wet condition is not my style so i will take a look at the APT see if its better.
These are the exact tires size and everything that I just ordered a couple hours ago. Going on a f150 also though not as new as yours lol. Anyway, what load rating are those? I ordered the D1 rating. And thanks for the informative review.
