This trailer made it look like a load of rubbish this is best zombie thing I’ve seen in years there a diffrent kind of zombies with a comedic twist and just good writing
I wouldn't call this a zombie series as the infected look more like straving berserker/super soldier OAPs unless they've died and no one had noticed. I like the idea I'd like a decent South Wales (Rhondda area) zombie series, I'd like it to be focused on creativity rather than raiding a musuem. Maybe give the spotlight to a protagonist not used before, have them find things seen as unusable and make things that are useful against the undead and other people.
dead set was pretty awful as well tbh. but it at least had a solid premise behind it. this is just horrible at every level. zombie comedies are almost always shit. the one time it wasn't, was shaun of the dead.
Hollyoaks meets Shaun of the Dead. It's clever.. But IMO? The 'Woke' message is buried here too, if you can see it..😉 Wish they'd have just done a Zombie series..
I hope the female characters are not annoying. I detest this boss babe attitude forced into entertainment these days. I like DEAD SET and REALITY Z (Netflix's remake of Dead Set and it extends it past where DS finished).
There is this one protagonist called Finn who can be considered a bit of a “boss babe” as well as Sue Johnston and Anita Dobson’s characters, but it’s kinda cool
@@JackTheWind The more I hear about this the more I am not wanting to see it now. Why can't they just write normal women characters that can handle themselves with out having a boss like attitude.
@@LordBelial1978 (spoiler warning in 2nd paragraph) well Finn’s character is really more of a moody yet smart teenager who sometimes overreacts. There is a scene where she and another protagonist Steff investigate a zombie attack at a house and when Steff suggests they should go, Finn says “No, we have to help.” (As seen in this trailer) Idk if that’s the criteria for “boss babe” or not. Also Sue Johnston and Anita Dobson’s characters (Cecily and Janine) lead the other zombies throughout the series. Cecily is actually a lovely character as she feels remorse and guilt for eating people whilst Janine fully embraces her zombie side in a devilishly evil yet hilarious role that Anita Dobson looks like she’s having a blast doing. Finn gets bitten and infected yet she manages to stop herself from eating anyone. Eventually she is cured and later, Steff willingly gets himself infected and when Finn goes to help him with a cure, she rants and beats him in annoyance for his choice (that ends up breaking the cure, unfortunately). Finn however does actually have a few characteristics that I can relate with which makes her a cool character in my book. Also Cecily and Janine fight for leadership over the zombies and Janine ends up throwing her off a cliff (she survives and fully converts to the food side)
