In this video we will take a look at various weak spots on the robot enemies in the action RPG Generation Zero. I hope you enjoy these tips and tricks and find at least a few of them helpful. #pcgaming #generationzero #tipsandtricks
Protip from the game creator: I made it so you can shoot the component that distributes either the gas or the shockwave off. They’re generally on the side of the heads of the tank, on the side of the legs of the harvesters and on the side of the wolfs. They look like a line of holes(typically different colors). ((P.s. the tier 3 wolf has a bug where even if you shoot the components off it still fires we’re working on that)).
Couple of quick addenda for any new players: Early game: the binoculars will tell you where the weak points are, although you may need to unlock this on the skill tree as well (honestly can't remember). Mid to late game: Infrared vision modules attached to scopes allow you to see components- these are the black areas on your target. This, in combination with an ag4 or pvg, gives you a huge advantage, particularly with tanks and harvesters. Regarding silenced guns: Very much an early to mid game feature when you're still stealthing your way around. I prefer to carry a silenced Magnus for mid-range sniping outside, as well as a silenced hunting rifle until you get the pvg. go loud with anything automatic, unless you're doing bunker clearing, in which case a silenced smg, shotgun and klauke is a good combo, as you're mostly fighting ticks and runners at short range, and the silencer helps in not alerting everything in an area. End-game: you don't need them. The only gun it might seriously benefit would be The pvg, but you can't attach a silencer to these. The assault rifles are always better with the barrel extensions to increase velocity, rather than a silencer. If you're going full auto, then the enemies aren't going to be fooled by a silencer, so you might as well jump feet first into the fight. The rocket launcher is good with the emp shells, as these briefly shut down anything they hit, and the explosive shell is useful against groups of smaller enemies near cars and other environmental destructibles, as this will cause maximum carnage, but less so against anything bigger than a hunter. Given the choice, I'd always take a pvg and an automatic of some description over the launcher, at least until you get the 6c one. These are my findings, anyway. Others may disagree because they know more, or play differently, but as I'm strictly a filthy casual, these are the tactics I've found that work the best for me. 👍
Protip from a modder: Headshots have a hidden 300% damage bonus that no other component has, if all the armour surrounding a robot's head is completely destroyed, aim for the head instead of the fuel cell. This assumes you're a good sniper of course, since the heads on most robots are exceptionally small and difficult targets to hit
@@diomed011 just started playing, was finding it difficult to know where to shoot on the big guys, but I use snipers and pistols... tanks you can down pretty easily with the generic hollowpoint ammo in the Moller PP... once its by itself, you just get behind it and stay behind it, dies in about 40 hits to the backside with hollowpoints. and if you have an extended mag, that means 2 reloads to kill it... great source of .50BMG ammo
Found you through the beginner tips video and was surprised to see that you didn’t already have a couple ten thousand subscribers, your content has helped me out tremendously so thank you
Just starting playing the game and started to encounter some harvesters/larger variants. Hopefully this helps with dealing with them as I previously drained all my resources trying to fight them.
Nice video man. Im From Sweden (Gothenburg) and the game are from the islands outside stockholm. The airplanes "Viggen" are modded. I dont know why but it does not lool like the real "viggen" (Fighter jet). I seen it up very close. Take care and thanks for the video.
Just came across this and loved the breakdown for each enemy. Quick question though, what mod/setting do you use to get your weapons and gear to show on screen above your ammo count?
You’ve quickly become one of my favorite RU-vidrs, you sound just like my buddy Evan who I ironically grind the hell out of this game with. Thanks for the headshot tips bro
When playing with friends we don't worry about salvage we try to out do each other with skillful kills (basically chain reacting enemies) Also hitting a prototype harvester on skirmish with 2 HEDP rockets center mass they tend to go boom
lol harvesters are not even that hard to kill if you're scared, drop an EMP on him and run to his back and shoot two gas tanks and his artillery untill he dies. he can't do shit besides calling for help/releasing gas, which if you have a machine gun/something with high DPS will never happen.
nice blend of informative and some humor, some emotion but not bleed my ears over-reactions. gonaa rely on you for more info on this game now that I'm playing. guess this means i should make sure i'm subscribed
Thank you for the tips really helps a lot, also that moment when you said "don't get too close of the harvester, he farts (the gas)" and then "he ate too much dairy" xD it got me rolling
@@diomed011 I also play on pc just got the game today and started playing with a few of my friends. It’s a pretty fun game I can’t wait for mid/end game. I’ll look at the ui thanks.
I was a little confused when you called a FNIX class tier 4 but then I figured out what you meant Prototype - Tier 1 Military - Tier 2 FNIX - Tier 3 Apocalypse - Tier 4
Hi George , came across your videos acouple of days ago and enjoy it , can I ask what was your method for farming exp weapons? I know there are a few different ways but if you know a easier or better way that worked for you I would be interested in hearing your methods , keep up the great content .
Thanks for the kinds word. Honestly, I just hunted rivals. I even got one exp weapon of a lower tier rival. I think what would speed up the process would be to get a great weapon and use it on weak spots. I have some ideas. I might make a video on that. Cheers!
