I’m not gonna lie the first time I died in this game was fall damage. The fall damage in this game is like tripping on a cardboard box and breaking your leg
I love gunplay in this game because guns and explosions are truly LOUD like they'd be in real life and when a grenade explodes you truly feel like you woke up a few square miles of robots. :D
Ughh I remember when the police here in Sweden had .32 caliber handguns. They used Walter PPK's but after some incidents in the late 80s where junkies high on the new designer drugs didn't even flinch when they were fired upon, the police switched to a Sig Sauer 9mm. There were also incidents where the police couldn't even shoot through a cars windshield or shot out the tires of a car with Walter PPK. .32 Cal sucks it must be the worst caliber for a handgun, even a .22 is a better choice :P Now they are looking at the Glock as a replacement probably also in 9mm.
Gen Zero has been an adjustment Coming from SOD 2 where I just go guns blazing. Great start. Loving the game and looking forward to watching this series
been watching a couple random videos for this game as i recently got into it, but this is the lets play that imma binge watch as this is probably the best one i've seen :) btw, as a swede i find your pronunciations of places like Björknäs absolutely hilarious
Sorry anpther tip. You DO want ro store ALL your crafting materials in your recycling bench. All you boxes and benchs are yours and ONLY yours no matter whos game your in or whoever is in your game. 👍
you don't know what loud is yet :D the 50 Cal is awesome sounding, and the experimental smg fire like a rail gun sound its fantastic.. the sounds in this is a adrenaline rush if you play on harder difficulty, but the music is pretty awesome but it gives away when you about to get into a fight. 30% at least for me on music so i a vaguely hear it. On Saving in solo the devs did something special for this every time you exit combat it auto saves if you loose the fight. You get exp for the lost combat but when you go fight that bucket that killed you it will already be damage. Not saying its a living world but in this way it is. If you find a good spot for a loot run any safehouse you fast travel it saves. exit. Reload and regain mostly all the loot. --- Remember when doing this method that mostly all bots will spawn but with lesser numbers since you already cleared the area before. Its a good way to loot up and get some exp....
I am level capped and i enjoy joining new players lobbies and then helping them escape the noob island (southern island). Then before i leave i drop them a high tier weapon . Feels good to help new players cuz those robots can be intimidating when all you have is the 1 star pistol lol
The down side is even if they have a nice gun it'll be a nightmare finding ammo for it without heading deeper into the dangerous areas. Unless you want a rank 5 .32 caliber pistol XD
I just found this channel and i'm going to watch all the generation zero videos I got this game a year ago, when i finished it and Wanted to watch other people learn how to play this game i couldnt find anyone that didnt know everything about it already This is the only playtrough of this game that is made by a nee player
really looking forward to this series also you can change it to tap instead of hold and you can turn the heartbeats off aswell under game in the settings
So I am a little less than two year on from this video. They have updated it a bit. There is a girl you meet at the church early on. She has been wounded and needs you to create a health pack for her (though at the time I had over 20 already). But she gives you the schematic for them. There are also painted images that tell you where to attack the robot weak spots. When I went up against the Hunter I had seen two or three images. When I opened fire, I was aiming at its armored parts. And true to it name it chased me all the way to the first farm and set up camp in the center of the buildings just waiting to finish me off. I mistakenly tried to get a look at it, but got its attention instead. And it started following me again. Unfortunately, it was right near the giant flammable tanks. I know I ended up using my rifle and it took 2 shots, but they exploaded and killed the hunter, as well as, about 80 hit points on me. Also, the girl communicates with you via radio and pretty much loses contact when the relay blocks her signal. So you are pretty much encouraged to destroy it.
It's almost three years sins you realeased this vid and it's been 10 months I start playing and I livr this game, I bought the two main DLC (Alpine Unrest and FNIX rising) which are incredible but I think that's not enough and they'll maybe release an other DLC so I'm wondering if you'll buy it and do videos about it (I'm eps 1 so I don't know if you buy the two main DLC)
So I'm running into a very strange bug! I... never got the schematic for the starting bicycle. Do you know of any way to work around that, or like.. any fixed spawns for other bike schematics? I'm picking up the game for the first time in like a year, and I remember just how cool the bikes were! Kind of disappointing playing without it, frankly.
