I remember your really old microphones with that audio quality. The change makes your voice way easier to understand and it just sounds better. I know this was random but I just thought of it.
I managed to take this down by myself, it was awesome fun! But the loot I got from it was disappointing, hopefully the more Reapers I take out the better the loot! Just love the reaper.. it’s the best machine in the game
Did you kill it or did it self destruct after enough damage? If it self destructs the loot quality drops greatly. You have to prevent the self destruct.
@@whaevalildude5985 I have no idea.. my game glitched out for a few minutes.. so the reaper was just stuck making noise but not moving! Then all of a sudden it exploded but let off the massive bomb attack move too! So really I haven’t a clue if I got it or if it was self destruct.. Goddam glitching
@@babakinsbeats thats him killing himself. Once he gets to 10 hp he starts shaking and he starts emiting red smoke. You need to dps the hell. Out of him before he kills himself. If you kill him it's a guaranteed experimental weapon maybe 2
Bare in mind, the max rivals per region is 8. So you want 7 active rivals in said region and your region level 21 or greater, this leaves one slot for the reaper to spawn. Any new rivals that spawn as #8 (level 1) take them out immediately, leaving the slot open and the region score high. Taking out level 4 rivals will lower the region level.
Lots and looots of bullets.. I did this just because I had too many bullets in my stash and I wanted loot. I did empty me stash of half of it's munitions.. But all I got was more bullets and a hat..
This is my take on the easiest way to fight the reaper on any difficulty without him blowing himself up. EMP is actually quite useful. It doesn’t completely disable him like it does with the other machines, however if you pay extra close attention, it does “stun”/daze him for a brief few seconds. And perhaps the most useful aspect is that EMP rockets can prevent him from using his Thermobaric Explosion momentarily - it will completely interrupt him from doing it, and he will either have to try and use it again, or he may not at all if you run behind cover, giving you more time before he inevitably activates it again later. When he gets down to 10% health (his health can be checked using the tech view on your binoculars, looking at the “status” percentage), he will try to blow himself up. This will lower your overall loot pools by a moderate margin. He also releases a small cloud of red steam when he is at this 10% threshold as an indicator although it is subtle and not easily noticed if you are in combat with machines. If you are playing on Guerrilla difficulty (hard), the trick is to just keep shooting EMP rockets from the Experimental m/49 Launcher when he is in the process of activating his Thermobaric Attack, and swapping to the Experimental Pvg-90 and mag dumping on him to do the highest possible damage. Do this and he will not be able to blow himself up before you destroy him, guaranteeing you the best loot, provided you time your reloads for both guns properly and have enough EMP and .50 big ammo of course... the Experimental Klaucke 17 can prevent him from using this, but it’s risky. Also worth mentioning, he may not use his Thermobaric Attack to finish himself off at all if he cannot see you. Meaning you can keep taking shots at the 2-3 weak spots on his leg from around a corner without him being able to see you, this doesn’t always work 100% of the time, but is a viable strategy if the above cannot be met.
This emp is a nice tip, thanks! I've killed him 5 times now with EVERY TIME him blowing himself up, no matter what I do... Seriously the suicide mechanic should be removed its really stupid. Even a full exp pvg90 mag wont kill him in time after he charges suicide not to mention the 5* kvm 59 wont even tickle him... If only i had the exp kvm 59, but hard to get from other than the reaper :/ edit* realized i was playing on skirmish, after switching to easiest the kill went smoothly
@@x_arnie the exp KVM 59 has the same damage per bullet as its 5* version, the only difference is the lighting. The problem is, as you can see in this video too, if you shoot anything withing about 15m from you, this thing will zap you and it does a lot of friendly fire. The 5* can be used safely at any range (ticks and hunters wont cause you to kill yourself with this thing).
My TV is connected to a amplifier and the sound comes through the speakers and his thermobarac blast sounds so good once it happened and I thought a Reaper was in my garden though speakers it sounds so real
It's not that loud I make sure that it's about half way it's not the volume of a device it's the game audio that makes the game loud but that's good because what do you expect in the real world a robot fight to be quite no people would expect it to be damn right loud
I just tried killing my first reaper. After finding it, it had 1 FNIX tank, 2 Prototype tanks with 8 FNIX runners chilling near by and i tried luring all of them via heavy coms with 20 landmines and well most of the runners and 1 proto tank died the reaper annihilated me. Had spawn near by however 2nd time engaging the reaper the game crashed :(
Honestly when he is in the wide open i just run away from the thermobaric and just snipe him using the pvg90 and then after the shields i just go up close and personal to bait him into doing thermobarics cause it damages him every time he does it without a shield
i do really like this boss I'm just going to call it as that is what it is. I know a few people think everything about him is bull**** but I don't feel that way as he is rare either way. good video
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the experimental sniper will do some damage with the shields up because it is armor piercing by itself, I have taken out one of the coils whilst the shield was up the second time I fought him.
@@WIREDGAMING did the experimental 50 cal work or did you get a chance to try it yet my friends and I just tried taking him on for the first time you come down to 17% and the game froze so now we're looking at ways to take him on a little faster LOL
Check out tenebris infinite video on him facing the reaper. The explosion has a massive damage status and you could hide behind a hill and it will still do insane damage if not kill you.
fought a reaper last night first attempt failed because the game froze mid fight round 2 ended in the reaper nuking itself got foa 4 pants 5c machine gun compensator 115 .50 fmj bullets 8 advanced med kits and 1690 9mm fmj handgun bullets
I think once you have killed this guy lots of times you understand it's thermobarac blast and his shield generators and to hide behind a rock or inside a safehouse from the thermobarac blast and when he Is red shoot at him all you like your not doing any damage to him what so ever so try to shoot the shield generators off him and you get it so you might end up fighting him all day long but at first your just looking for the generators and how to shoot them off
Ive taken down two reapers with the n144 and can’t seem to kill him before he self destructs. I’m using titan topler gold and hip shooter. Any advice? The loot he drops if he self destructs is absolutely horrible. It’s extremely frustrating to spend over an hour to get a pair of glove or a kvm 59 mag extension.🤬
Gonna have to try this again. Have already killed 4 Reapers. Actually 2 once in one stream just today. But he still kill himself. It's difficult tho. But my regions is on level 24 and I have 7 Rivals. It should be 7 + the Reaper when he spawns. (For those who might be reading my comment) lol. Gonna go on a Reaper hunt now 😅🙏🏻
i've completed the game and both DLC's reached max level 31 got the farmlands region up to level 20 with 7 active rivals and i still haven't had a single experimental weapon or seen the reaper ?
You just have to farm rivals for exp weapons and of you just keep grinding the area but keep only 7 rivals in it youll get the reaper, sometimes he doesn't spawn until region level 22-23
@@WIREDGAMING i did exactly what you said and now i've killed the Reaper 3 times got the experimental Sniper rifle and the Rocket launcher twice, when he reaper appears i always lure it to a nearby building like a barn etc and use the building as a shield and only attack when his energy shield is down, plus when you're on the opposite side of a building his thermo blast can't get you at all

Ok. When i first fought the reaper and killed him it took me about 2 lives and 30 minutes of just trial and error. After i killed him i just got a single weapon and it was the experimental SLEDGEHAMMER! WHY THE DAMN SLEDGE!
I've had a similar issue, however for me it's to do with loading into a region... sometimes it notifies me that I've defeated a rival which I never intended to fight or go near, and I end up finding its body minutes if not hours later. They always have clean loot too and if you're having that issue then it could be that. Idk any other reasons as to why your region level would drop.
Good video but you didn't say how well other weapons work against it. Is there any point using explosive rockets, throwing grenades or trying to leave a pile of gas canisters and mines for it to step on? Does the stun effect from X-Glauke work on it and does it stagger from X-shotgun's explosive darts? If you use the X-AG4 do the flames work? What about after the shield goes up, does that stop the burning effect? Given the constant presence of multiple rocket and sniper Runners one should keep throwing fireworks and sticky flares every time the shields are close to going down.
Good point bud explosives work but the exp klauke doesnt stun it and the exp shotgun doesnt stagger him i used the exp ag4 and didnt notoce any difference 🤔 yeah i mention that fireworks and flares etc still work 👍
Your area has zo be 21 or higher, he will only spawn if youre doing some action (killing other maschines)😉the best is: turn on THUNDERTRUCK from ACDC and enjoy your life😉🤷♂️
how do I get the reaper not to blow himself up,,, 🙀 ,,, I only got a crappy hp5 extended mag,,, maybe I can ask the reaper to please not blow himself up,,, lol lol lol
hard COVER, im behind a FUCKING MOUNTAIN and still get one shotet... this enemy is cleary poorly writen... instead of making it that if something is between enemy and player, player dont take damage...
