Gave this a try myself and got pretty lucky! Had a threat level over 21k and maybe 6 or 7 rivals active when the reaper spawned my first try. I wasn't expecting that.

Never had found a real use for smoke grenades except for recycling. Obviously you would try the attack when the shields are down. Thank you for the idea and I will give it a go.

The experimental ammo and medkits are earned by completing the base defense mission in the Forest region over and over, you'll need a good supply of wood, textiles and steel before you start, at least 500-600 wood and half that for the others to build your base. Each time you complete the mission (you can do it once per hour and you'll need to build up your region score between each run) you have a chance of earning an experimental schematic, which is somewhat common on the easy and medium difficulty but on hard it's all but guaranteed that you will get one. I don't suggest trying hard until you're fairly well leveled up (it's a great end game activity, I didn't even start doing them until I was level 31). On each run you will earn a few pieces of uranium which is required for all exp schematics, they require two pieces of it per unit of experimental ammo or health packs, you get 10 health packs per, and anywhere from 60 to 400 rounds of ammo depending on which type you choose. You can also farm the reaper in the same region, you can both take out the reaper and do the base defense every hour if you keep your region score above 21 and don't kill rivals unless there are more than 7, since the reaper counts as a rival and the max is 8.

Only by a very small amount, due to the chance of proc explosions. I'd say keep that uranium for shock ammo instead and use typical bmg ammo for its shield gens :D

Sorry for the late reply here but the idea is to have set harvesters you go to in order to farm hunters for large amounts of region score. If getting one reaper was the goal then yeah you'd beeline for the highest score as quickly as possible, but this guide is for having your regions set to go spawn the reaper when you want to. So leaving rivals to maintain score is also essential and having all of them tracked makes farming much easier in a region as you know where to avoid if need be! Tldr; having farmable harvesters gets you many repeatable reaper regions, which is the primary goal of finding rivals. Cheers!

Drop rates are not effected by difficulty You get the same amount of exp and same amount of loot Only thing difficulty changes is rivals spawning from what i remember

Yes you can do exactly that dude, the dmg you do to machines persists too! So if he takes a couple swings you can keep coming back to him

No worries at all my dude! So tahts why i have the section specifically on how to increase your region score, the goal is 1. remove your rival harvester weapons without killing the harvester 2. farm all the hunters the harvester spawns without killing the rival 3. rinse and repeat _without_ killing any rivals and 4. profit! :D Hopefully that helps, try it out in your game and maybe give me an update here if you start to see that score get higher!

Special ammo blueprints are earned by completing Base Defences (Good News side quest) I think u get at least 1 exp ammo blueprint per defence, you can’t just find special ammo, somebody needs to craft it….. I think 😙

@@TenebrisInfinite and I would like to say yes it did work I believe I was level 13 and now I'm level 16 in the region.I did it like two or three times and it feels like it works a lot better cuz you can just keep going back and doing the same thing to the one harvester that I found so far so thank you very much for taking the time in helping me I really appreciate you very much
