Love how the inside turned out! I tend to go 1-wide with stairs because I think of all the other things I can do with the space. But you're right, the 2-wide is a grand touch here.

Hello Tonya, I love this house. My current household is living in a 2 bedroom house but they just had twin boys and are wanting more children. The twins were totally unexpected. No fertility treatment or lot traits. I literally screamed when I realized it was twins. They are a fairly new household so they dont have alot of money. 2 beds, 1 bath, and 4 sims is a challenge. lol. They will be looking for a bigger home once they can afford it. Also, some may differ in opinion, but I feel the mix of modern and traditional in a home looks beautiful. I personally live in a traditional style house because I actually lost both of my parents and inherited my home. My father passed in 2003 and my mother passed in 2018. My home is a traditional home built in the 1970's. Lots of clutter and pictures on the walls. I love modern homes, they are beautiful but I love warm colors and lots of decor. lol. I also love your landscaping. I do struggle with landscaping and I have been playing the Sims since the Sims 3. Landscaping always takes me some time. You make it look so easy. I use floorplan books of actual houses to build my houses because looking at the blank lot and trying to build intimidates me. I dont do well building just off the top of my head. I admire anyone who can do that. Thank you for your dedication and hard work on this channel. Your cheerful and warm personality make your channel such an inviting, cozy, and inspiring place to be. I'm impressed. You were able to comfortably fit all of them into a house on a 30x40 lot when land to spare. A couple of months ago I tried building a multi-generational lot on Magnolia Blossom Park with houses for the parents, each of their two adult children and their small children, one for their other two children who are barely out of high school and close knit, plus a gathering house where they could have Sunday dinners or celebrate the holidays together. The game got so slow that it would barely move, to the point where TS4 wouldn't launch. I went back to a previous save, and disabled For Rent EP. I'm am currently building houses for each of them on the four lots in Pendula View. Just now, Today, I learned that during March all sorts of weird stuff was happening to everyone's gameplay including TS4 crashes. That's probably partly to blame. Those houses were, and are, huge! Bravo to you.

I've almost exclusively always used 1 wide staircases (unless it's for outdoor), but you may have just sold me. That two wide staircase looks so good in this build

Btw given San Sequoia is heavily inspired by San Francisco, those pretty yellow-orange flowers look very much like California poppies, which is the state flower!

I love that the sims have to actually build the tree house, unlike ts3 where you just put down and you're done..... so many missed opportunities Sims 3. But it's been about 12 years too late to update that game (kinda wished they would the lag is ridiculous in my game (no mods either). Also find any Squishmallows lately I would love to see another shopping haul video. ❤ Never say never we might get preteens in the future ts4 got infants which is first The Sims franchise.
