Generative Fill is Adobe's name for the capability to use AI in photoshop to edit an image. Something that is also possible right in ComfyUI it seems.

Firstly try to use "Set Latent Noise Mask" instead of "VAE Encode (for inpainting)". Secondly try to use Inpainting versions of checkpoint models.

I was about to write about "Set Latent Noise Mask" which gives better results than VAE Encode (for inpainting)

Note on the denoise. With the node you using - you pretty much have to stay above 0.8 or it’ll just be great

I think you don't really have much idea of how comfy is working. There's entire inpainting workflows, without the need to cut a square or draw a circle in PS - And most important you have to choose an Inpainting Model!

Using an inpaint model isn’t necessary. Comfyui handles the inference automatically same as auto4. But yeah on the other stuff.

One note. While I get most folks use the other modes - the inpainting node he’s using here is actually appropriate for generative fill. The set latent noise node won’t actually change the image rather work on details. Similarly to “original” in auto 4
