Generative patching with the 4MS QCD, QCD Expander and QPLFO. 

Ok, so I'm watching the patch taking shape and every few seconds my wife, whos sitting reading a book, bursts out laughing. It's harshing my buzz! I pause the video and ask politely "What are you reading my love?" She says, in between chortles "I'm not! It's the man who's just saying words! It makes absolutely no sense at all! And I can't stop laughing!" I understand every word spoken, but on reflection, I can see her point. It's like someone talking sport at me I guess. Thank you not only for the really cool patch tutorial, but also for a beautiful moment shared with my wife.

Would’ve loved to see more cross patching just across the 3 4ms modules, with the LFO’s and clocks modulating other channels, and using the O_c to S&H/quantize. It has quite a bit of chaos built in if you start patching away on it, and can also generate interesting repeating patterns the border on self-generative

Absolute power house when rigged up together. Just the QPLFO on its own shud be mandatory in systems.

Cool. Though i find it funny that you tune oscillators and use quantizers, i would just do that totally unquantized, its only random, microtonal noises. I never tuned a synth.

do a lot of people use the qcd as a master clock? I just got it in place of the erica black clock 2, and find myself missing the start stop button and CV in that controls all outs top down, for clock feedback kinda stuff. Am I barking up the wrong tree?
