Also, since the nanites are in the air, he could create small scale weather effects by manipulating temperature. Van Kleiss is one of the greatest cartoon villains of all time he is the perfect arch enemy of Rex he also represents Rexs dark side and inner demon he is the total dark opposite of Generator Rex while Rex is pure of heart Van Kleiss is pure evil Van Kleiss Black Knight and BioWulf were the best villains in Generator Rex

Presumably the explosion that happened when rex cut him in half including NANITES means that likely rex split atoms with it thus meaning rex turned kleiss into a nuclear explosion

Van kleiss is literal peak, only gripe i have is that they built up his betrayal for a whole season with no payoff, they should've let him succeed and made it lead to season 4

I actually think that even after season 2 VK can still control nature while in abysus. We just don’t see him fight in abysus after that. As his powers are said to have “returned” with even VK only noteing a “small change” in them (i think losing his most powerful abilities would be a bigger deal than that). And in the agent of providence video game (which isn’t canon to the show but the events of the show like VK’s curing and regaining his abilities still took place) he can still control his surroundings when you fight him in abysus.
