I think I remember seeing this at Hoyts in Brockton (I believe it was this one) near the Westgate Mall when they used to operate the Hoyts theaters across the East coast until all Hoyts were acquired by Regal around 2003. I believe it was permanently closed in late-2004. Now it's a Dick's Sporting Goods store. Most of the time, they usually don't show this after the previews but just the start of film, and sometimes they would show it. It was a dirty old theater in town and I didn't even know Hoyts was based in Australia as a kid from about a few years ago. UPDATE: It wasn't actually the Generic enjoy the show that was shown at the theater I mentioned above. I just saw the Hoyts trailer (around 1992) that someone uploaded a year ago and it was that trailer. Now my memory has been restored! :)
I remember this when they showed “Toy Story” at the Cobble Hill Cinemas in Brooklyn, NY. They also showed this when I saw “Batman Forever”, “Godzilla (1997)”, and a few other movies that I saw in Cobble Hill Cinemas back then. No bumpers for “Coming Attractions” and “Feature Presentation” on there.
That shot of popcorn falling seems incredibly familar, but everything else in this does not. I doubt I'll ever find it, as it is a very small chain of cinemas, but NCG Cinemas had an 'Enjoy the Show!' opening title sequence that was CGI. It had the typical No Smoking, No talking graphics onscreen. (There was no vocieover, just a catchy instrumental tune) At the end, the words 'Enjoy the Show!' appeared. Then appeared again in several languages, the words bouncing in tune with the music. I saw that opening title sequence for years (1996-2005, I believe) Anyone else remember that one?
Are you referring to the cinema express policy trailer? If so then yes That trailer was use at my local movie theater until starplex bought them in 2012
Thank you for uploading this amazing and rare stuff! I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but what telecine or scanner setup do you use for these transfers?
